How fabulous! I've been looking for a way to DIY one that hangs to keep them out of reach of my cat. I am going to throw in a few larger rocks that hopefully the butterflies and bees can sit on to drink - it's going to be a hot, hot summer.

I've had a thanksgiving cactus for about a year and I recently got an easter cactus. I've noticed that the easter cactus is floppy. The leaves are less firm than the Thanksgiving cactus leaves. Is this normal?

You can buy cheap plant dishes or use cheap 1 inch depth pasta bowls too. Or fruit bowl...and take a plant pot flip it over. Glue gun the plate to the upside down plant pot...bird bath

I love this thank you. Only issue I see...u cleaned the glass but than you added spraypaint...a toxic chemical they will be touching and u added rocks...that have a glissy coating..more chemicals. Birds are hyper sensitive to chemicals. They won't be able to bath in it because they will try to grip rocks and slip. The weight of rocks can break their claws or legs. I'd use a plain bowl or a plastic planter plate 1 " deep. It won't break, easy to clean and slight texture. Plastic is safer than all that spray paint . Remember..you'll be cleaning it all the time. Always put a few drops bleach in to kill bacteria. Don't clean around your dishes. There poop can get you very sick. Not trying to be a karen. I just saw the spray paint that killed me. If anything make pretty frame of rocks on the wire..but again they will want to climb onto it. Also make a second bowl fir food!
