Videofreex

Videofreex is one of the pioneer production groups, formed in 1969 when consumer video was first introduced. With 10+ active video artists/producers, the Freex are known for their innovative and entertaining video productions that chronicle decades of cultural, artistic and political change. They recently reformed in order to restore their large archive of videotapes and to rejuvenate the myth of their 1970s escapades.

The image above is the giant inflatable TV set called the Blue Calzone that first appeared at the Goddard college, Alternative Media Conference in 1970.
