I have the 16 gig option so not sure how your 8gig is different. When you open the cover, there should be two slots where the ram would get installed. Just make sure to get compatible ram.

In its specs sheet on the HP website, it says it can fit two RAM sticks, so you can absolutely add another 8gb, but check the HP website for your exact model if it has 2 SODIMM

I think this is a perfect laptop for normal home and study purposes. Regarding Capcut or any other video editing, it will work but its not the best laptop for video editing. I would look for a better, CPU, more ram and stronger video card.

If you are talking about streaming KZbin. I never streamed KZbin all day so not sure how long the battery would last in that scenario. I have stream KZbin for a few hours out of a day and the battery lasted me 4-5 hours with more video streaming.

We are able to add a bluetooth headset. My son can use it with music but it wont work for calls. Any knowledge on this? Cant find any references on this.

Hey @BowmnaDarin, yes Bluetooth only works for listening to music but not for calls. In December, support told me that the Bluetooth update would be available mid-December. When the update went out it only allowed us to listen to music. I have been reaching out to support every week, and so far they are just saying a new update is coming but no official date yet. I will post a video as soon as that feature is available.

@@AP.Product.Reviews The audio settings out of the box did not work. Volume icon did not adjust anything. I ended up going into the device manager and seeing there wasn't even a microphone driver installed either. Had to go to the AMD website, download all the audio drivers, uninstall and reinstall to fix the problem. Not something I feel like the average consumer should have to do for a brand new machine? Now that it's fixed I'm happy, but overall a very frustrating experience.

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean. It has good water pressure, very comfortable. As far as restricted water pressure, I have not experienced any restrictions, overall there is a good water flow.

I haven't noticed any color change. I don't run them through the dishwasher that often though. I typically wash them in the sink then air dry them. Not sure if that makes a big difference but wanted you to know.

I have not noticed a lot of heat coming from out Jr Track 4. The way that my kiddos use it, it lasts all day. We leave for school around 7:30am and don't charge until about 8:30pm.

So sorry for the delay in replying. We got really sick in our home. I'm just getting back to all my socials. Currently you can use the watch in Mexico and Canada without any extra charges. Cosmo is working to expand this to other countries. You can only install apps that are allowed through "App Station", currently you cannot add Whatsapp or Google.

Yes, you are correct. I was just pointing out that the rubber pieces provide great stability also. The Laptop doesn't just slide around, there is enough grip for it to be stable on a desk. But you are 100% correct, it also allows for that airflow which is so important.

No, the apps are not installed. I use the O365 Microsoft web portal for all Office needs. You can download and install the office suite though if you need the additional features.

Yo! I'm trying to buy my mom a laptop for Christmas and was wondering if you would recommend this? I can get it for $400 on sale and she wants a HP laptop. She mainly uses things on the web/google or some Office applications (Mostly Word), and I wanted to get her an upgrade from her PC which is 6GB ram and I believe an older CPU. Also how is the screen, can you see on it well (Oh you said that in the video whoops)? idk how to explain that because she wanted a big screen. I need to measure her laptops screen to see if this is similar size... 16-17 inch is way out of my price range lol

Yea, I would, if you are on a budget this is a good one. Screen is a good size. The colors are not super vivid like on a 5k display but its good for what you pay for. I would also just go with the 16gig option. For basic video streaming, online browsing and word this is a perfect laptop. It has a good size screen and not too heavy. Overall for the price I think its a really great option. Anything better is usually $200 more from what I see online.

Thanks for the effort, many of the things you have stated can be seen. What many would like to know is the Hardrive and ram accessible, can you thermal paste it? What speed are the ports.. data etc only? My last laptop is still going and I have used it for 15 years, and Microsoft is forcing it to retire.

I don't do any photo editing. I do web development but most of the tools I use are online so not a lot of load is put on the laptop. If you are thinking of compiling multi-layer projects I do not know how it will perform. I would say if you are more of a beginner photo editor this should work just fine. If you are more of a professional I would probably look for an alternative.

I got it but holy fuck the battery absolutely sucks😢 if it's plugged in it's great but it'll die in about an hour, I went from a Lenovo ideapad 3 to this because it was $80 cheaper and double the storage and ram, but not actually being able to use it and it not being portable makes it absolutely useless when it's to be plugged in and for the price you could get a better pc that isn't "portable". Unless I somehow got 2 dried batteries one from Lenovo and one from HP...but then I upgraded and am going to return the same spec you have for 4tb and 64GB ram. Other than the battery not allowing it to really be portable it's fantastic but would be exponentially better if you got a decent battery more than an hour😅

That’s crazy!!! Those are not the specs on mine. I am just using the 16gig RAM with 1 TB SSD and that is not my experience. I wonder are you also trying to do gaming? Because this is not a gaming laptop. With basic web browsing, watching videos and some web development work I can get a good 4-5 hours out of it. That’s if I’m consistently using it.

Hmm not sure, I’ve only been doing 5ks in them. They are very comfortable thought, I would think half marathon should be fine . All depends on your foot, you might need more support for running so long. I would try them out for shorter runs, then make a determination.

Did you happen to take a video of laying the grout? Does it apply just like it does for regular bathroom tile or is there any different step you must do since its adhering to vinyl? I like the idea of applying grout to elevate the look… that was smart.

I didn’t make a video of laying the grout sorry. We are thinking to add these same tiles in our laundry in a month or so. I’ll make sure to make a video of installation and laying the grout. I applied it the same as regular tile. So far no chipping/breaking anywhere.

So a few things. This watch is made with as little distractions as possible. You only get a few apps like the calculator or steps. You cannot add anything else. In some schools, like my sons school, they don't allow for smart watches like the Apple Watch. You mentioned cost, that's a big one. I also don't know the Mobile service cost for the Apple Watch, the COSMO plan is reasonably priced, especially if you get the longer term plan. Lastly for us, the security feature of me being notified when my kids are out of safe zones is huge. I don't know if the Apple Watch has an app or something you can setup also, but with the COSMO it just comes as part of the plan and really easy to setup.
