Oh WOWeee Viktoria, such an iconic and fabulous song. I think it is just wonderful how you introduce all these different singers and bands to us. This was particularly enjoyable because the singing is divine. This brought beautiful moments over to me. I just wallowed in the sweetness of it all but the video too has to be mentioned, with the loving images, and floaty outfits. All so fit for a romantic like me! Thank you for sharing this because it was well worth the time you spent putting it all together and presenting something very special. Well, thank you so much for that surprise dedication, dearest Viktoria! I certainly wasn't expecting that! I've always loved this song so much! This version by Larkin Poe is outstanding, and it's certainly a challenge to cover The Moody Blues and do it well! They've definitely added to the mysterious tone of the song, even though they are using the guitars instead of synths. Their guitar riffs are emotional and very moving, as are the beautiful and soulful vocals! You can hear the southern influence in their music, and in this case, it works magically. Very artistic visuals that you've included here that perfectly complement the mood of the song! Excellent editing and sound quality! I hope you're doing well, and thank you again! You're welcome, dearest Michelle! :-) I knew you liked the music of the Lovell siblings very much! And I'm happy you liked my gift! I heard Larkin Poe's music for the first time on my local TV station, 2015 (New Pop Fest), and was struck by the great vocals of Rebecca Lovell and the great harmony and super musicianship of sister Megan on slide guitar. Larkin Poe have released their very first *cover album* with "Kindred Spirits". To celebrate their southern roots, the pair have released the single, "Nights in white Satin" in 2020 - an atmospheric and haunting rendition with stunning vocals and harmonies. The lap steel is an ever-present atmospheric element, as if it’s crying in the night. Definitely heavier than the original. Larkin Poe describe the song as deeply haunting, and a song that transcends genre. A big hug to you! ~ Viktoria
