Even my casio duro not hitting the second marks correctly, duro size is not for everyone. And the ceramic bazel is way better than aluminum, + this bracelet is still better than casio duro strap, so i guess its a win win in $35

Pls share long term review of this watch..how is it going?

I had one scam there where a small electric motor I ordered went to customs for some odd reason and I was instructed to submit documents I did not have to release it. Only the seller would have that info. From what I have seen written by others the seller may have sent something different than what I ordered to guarantee it would stay in customs, like maybe a small undeclared lipo battery. AliExpress said I did not supply the evidence asked for by customs and so let the seller scam me. I also had one item that said it was delivered but to the wrong address and so I never received it. Ali said the seller showed info saying it was delivered and looked the other way. Scammed again.

Don't change the date within an hour of midnight. The date change mechanism is already engaged and over riding it mid way through its daily cycle can cause damage to the mechanism.

I bought this during their Father’s Day sale (30% off) in June 2024. I have a 7 3/4 inch wrist and it fits perfect. I put it on a medium brown leather strap (“camel” color). I love this watch.

What is the meaning of "I" and "W" in "I&W?

I got the SKMEI as I never have a negative display watch before and I found out I do not like the negative display as it very hard for me to tell what is there on the display without proper light. However, for the price! I would say I am very happy I got the SKMEI and now it happened to be my go-to watch when I wear it outside. Does it bother me on the water resistance 50M? I cannot swim... I sink like a rock, so I doubt my watch is going to be tested that deep. For day-to-day use. water splash, shower. And as for the SHOCK factor... I am not doing any outdoor stuff so ya.. for a watch it works.

The only thing i don't like about it is the placement of the light button. They positioned it in the most awkward place for easy access when on your right wrist.

Casio had created the psychological value of that particular design into consumer's mind through marketing strategies. Without the original model, you would most probably not pick up the SKMEI unit, which is clearly a copy of the original Casio G-Shock.

I agree that the G-Shock got features that most users don't use. Getting a cheaper G-Shock look-a-like is more value for money. And at the same price of a G-Shock that don't look that good in my book, I can get an elegant and better looking Edifice. I recently got the HDC-700 and the Edifice ECB-950DB.

Ive stopped buying Casio because since Covid, they doubled and tripled prices in UK. So I stopped and have just now started buying Skmei knockoffs

I now see g shocks as a waste of money because you can even get tough solar version of this watch excellent. I think now thousands of people who have g shocks 1 don't know why,2 just for show,3 none of the functions are ever used.

I have a couple of SKMEI watches. Before owning them I would see them on ebay and Aliexpress etc, and completely write them off as cheap junk. They really aren't junk at all. They're very good quality watches and much better value than Casio, who sell great but some very - but not all - overpriced watches.
