What caused your Carpel Tunnel and problems with your wrists? Gripping the bands for all these years?
@TheBandGym3 күн бұрын
NO ... Not focusing on grip strength and wrist mobility. Doing much better now.

Recent research has shown that strength training x 3 a week lowers peoples ages x 8 years. It has something to do with telemores?

Your correct.... I suspect you have read ( Outlive ) They discuss Telemores a lot.

I would bump up using handles or various types of handles to build your grip strength. I use dead hangs a lot to build grip strength

Hi Dave Thank you for your videos. I really like band work and have been doing some in a half-hearted way over the last year. Do also go to the gym, or do you think band workouts are sufficient for building strength and muscle? Thank you in advance
@TheBandGym10 күн бұрын
To build muscle and strength it comes down to 1- Consistency with strength training and bands are a good start 2 - Creating muscle confusion to create adaptation. Once again bands can do that.

Awesome video, BandTrainingWorkouts. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work. Your explanations of trunk stabilization exercises were really clear! How do you recommend integrating these stabilization techniques into more traditional strength training routines for optimal results?

Hey Dave, do you think it’s more effective to train with faster reps for all sessions throughout the year for 4-8 weeks training blocks with breaks, or focus on faster reps on an indefinite, weekly basis for 1-2, or more, sessions?
@TheBandGymАй бұрын
I like doing fast rep training as part of 2 or 3 workouts each week. I combine it up with traditional strength work.

If I’m “lifting heavy” with my resistance bands (ie I have the resistance such that I can do between 8 and 12 reps only) should I lessen the resistance to do fast reps?
@TheBandGymАй бұрын
Most likely YES but you could also focus on 1 Fast Rep at a time and decrease reps per set. Moving faster will require greater focus and time between reps to maximize speed.
