jajajaja best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I was thinking to do it something similar but using two rails ( one positive, other negative ) maybe with bearings and use a drone propeller, what do you think about it?

Sorry I am two years late in seeing your great comment... I hope your monorail went really well! Probably now linking Buenos Aires and Fray Bentos!

not to bad.. you can get the same type of set for a raspberry pi but not nicely put together like this i like your set up a bit better.. it is easier to teach with but then make the students put the pieces together..

Hi, is this trainer board available to be bought by the public? Or is there a any chance of buying a blank PCB? I'd love this to help teach my kids digital logic.

I hope you see this! I need it to count from 9 to 0. It is on down count, and it willc ount 15 to 0 fine, so I NAND 15 to load ABCD which is set to 1001 (9). It will count 9, 8, and then reset. I don't understand

You need to use and up/down counter like a 74LS90 or CD4510

Could you explain What type of Mod counter would be adequate for a 3 digit display starting at 000 to 999? I would of thought a Mod 100 but i am not certain.

@axel1973w Exactly. I came here for the Schmitt Trigger explanation too. :| He could easily do what he did using 4011 :|

Except that the 4011 doesn't have Schmitt trigger inputs

that is a pretty cool looking development breadboard!
@DaVinciPool

@dannyhd29 You are right... it's a multi-purpose PCB developed by a team at Singapore Polytechnic. The breadboards are the standard $5 ones you can buy easily. Nothing too high-tech. The data switches and other inputs go via TTL gates for buffering/minimising short-circuit damage. You can easily put one together yourself!
