They ruined the lobby. It had an amazing waterfall with lush vegetation. Now, it's garbage.

That’s so awful they took that down. So many loved that display, I saw it before and it was amazing. What a shame. Horrible horrible decision making

I think you are the best that does these orlando hotel overviews. I don't feel like watching a 30+ minute video on a hotel. You condense it but still give lots of information. How did you film during the day with almost no one around?

I wish they would bring back the waterfall. They could actually put chemicals in it so it doesn’t smell musty like it used to, but it was so pretty and iconic of the hotel

Chef Mickey's was my favorite restaurant as a kid in the 90s... it's been year's since I've been back but I bed it's still great for kids and some adults as well... I believe that it has a great view of some of the fireworks 🎆 at least the lake show (if they still do that <I loved that nightly lake show when I stayed at wilderness lodge around the year's the lodge frist opened (like the first 3 to 5 year's)

This was the first Disney resort I ever saw in the 70s . Then over the years. Wow have they improved and updated it, while keeping the retro theme. And the whole fireworks show - I did not remember how well you could see it!

Looks very dated to me and the Grand Canyon Southwestern artwork looks like it was done by a 3rd grader. Probably the absolute worst hotel in all of Disney World.

It is amazing how far Disney hotels had come between 1956 and 1971 (when Walt Disney World opened). The first ever Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim is very different to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The monorail goes right through the lobby at The Contemporary Resort. Even fifty years later, The Disney’s Contemporary Resort still remains one of a kind and there is no other hotel like it anywhere else in the world.

Man the smell when walking into the lobby is like it’s most telling you “welcome home!”
