Looks fantastic. Love the wheel tracks I'm gonna absolutely steal that idea. 🙂 You mention that you don't have a go-to for wood. About that I notice you went straight for the browns. Everyone does. But untreated dead wood rarely present itself as brown. As soon as untreated wood have been exposed to air for long enough to lose that fresh wood beige it either transitions quickly into light silvery grey or very dark blackish green depending on how wet/dry the environment is.

I love it!! Awesome work! Keep up the great work! I lost my dad unexpectedly many years ago. It was devastating. Time helps by it still hurts on occasion. Keep up the faith!

Very sorry to hear about your father. I have OCD and I know that doing anything, let alone hobby stuff when my mental health is in a rough spot is really rough. Just wanted to let you know that I just crawled out of a bit of a slump myself and decided I wanted to build a big bridge setpiece for my first Age of Sigmar game. I looked up a few videos but none of them seemed like what I wanted or used supplies I actually had. This popped up and was perfect for me. Bridge looks awesome and helped me a lot with my build!

fantastic. That is perhaps one of the best stone painting work I've seen to date. It really does pull off a sun bleached look quite well. The wagon wheel groves were a great touch. I also have a hard time with painting wood. I tend to try several different shades of dry brushing on it, but... yeah, still doesnt look natural. looking forward to the next video

This looks pretty close to the recipes for GW wash replacements that Secret Weapon (well I think that who it was) put out years ago when it looked like they weren't going to be able to ship their own. I agree that it's easier to water down a wash than it is to put it on the burner and reduce it by half. haha

Hello! Sorry, not a native English speaker. What do you use to dilute the washes you made?
@HobbyshireOfficial3 ай бұрын
@@pyccolotta hello and welcome! once I’ve made it with the medium and flow aid, if I ever need to dilute it for a project I just use water 😊

The honesty about how you're feeling really hits home and your bridge looks amazing. You're on the right track pushing yourself to do things even when it feels impossible to be happy. It gets better in time.
