fantastic. That is perhaps one of the best stone painting work I've seen to date. It really does pull off a sun bleached look quite well. The wagon wheel groves were a great touch. I also have a hard time with painting wood. I tend to try several different shades of dry brushing on it, but... yeah, still doesnt look natural. looking forward to the next video

Looks fantastic. Love the wheel tracks I'm gonna absolutely steal that idea. 🙂 You mention that you don't have a go-to for wood. About that I notice you went straight for the browns. Everyone does. But untreated dead wood rarely present itself as brown. As soon as untreated wood have been exposed to air for long enough to lose that fresh wood beige it either transitions quickly into light silvery grey or very dark blackish green depending on how wet/dry the environment is.
