Do the 90s not hurt the pressure?
@BudgetPlants

Generally, 85 static pressure and above could compromise components inside the house. Best to get a regulator in that scenario.

I thought DG would be like small rocks, but now that it's installed, it's basically sand. It doesn't stay in place and I was told it would stay in place. Now the installer is saying he can seal it for an additional charge. I literally said I wanted something LOW MAINTENENCE and this IS NOT IT. Why did they not tell me that they needed MORE money to make it what I asked for and now I'm stuck paying more!!! I'm so upset and now I want to seal it myself to save the money. The sand is getting all over the flagstone that it's supposed to stabilize and now I can't rake up the pine needles without messing the entire thing up. It's been less than a month and it already looks terrible and is coming apart.

So now I know for certain how much my reflexes suck.😏 I’m like 23 of your views - I kept waiting for the prices to roll around again and accidentally paused at your hand every damn time and then unpaused and missed the text entirely. 😂 Maybe my subconscious absorbed it. 😵‍💫 (Brilliant way to get views, really 🔁. Get that bag!💰👍) To the point, tho, I’m stunned oak trees this large are actually available for purchase at all. Must be so old. Very cool! 🌳

I've only ever heard of "eugenia" referred to as syzygium, or Lilly Pilly. Every day is a school day 😄 I live in Australia, and these are VERY common hedging plants. There are a lot of cultivars, many of which feature no/low fruiting, thrip resistance, and smaller sizing (so you're not constantly pruning). Can highly recommend looking up the cultivars!

@BudgetPlants
@BudgetPlants 7 күн бұрын
There’s an article floating around from some blogger that talks about the Ruschia being short lived and gets woody after a few years. This is extremely incorrect. Some of the first installations of this plant here in Southern California have been installed 9+ years ago and are continuing to thrive and look great. This article is probably mis-identifying Ruschia Nana for the parent plant R. lineolata or perhaps even Delosperma which is Iceplant. Iceplant does in fact get woody after some time.

I do like the Brisbane tree , it almost reminds me of arbutus marina tree. I need a tree for my backyard since I lost my 80ft ash tree .:( I am in love with the strawberry multi trunk and single can be nice too but my nursery told me that it would only be 25ft max and I need it to mature at least 40 or 50ft and non root invasive cus tree will be planted near house and garage Can you recommend please? Thanks
@BudgetPlants
@BudgetPlants 10 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear you lost your tree :((( So the Arbutus Marina would eventually hit aboit 30’ or more, but unfortunately, they do take a long time to reach that height. Carolina Cherry Laurel is a decent option reaching about 35 feet max, noninvasive route system. Eucalyptus torquata could also work. Hope this helps… Let me know if you need more suggestions!

This is 100% bunk! Always use COPPER K pipe with sweat connections on both ends and use BALL valves! By all means, use PVC or CPVC if you like to constantly dig up / repair your underground piping.

Thanks for the video. What’s the function of the tiny yellow filtered port on the diaphragm? Other systems refer to it as metering port. I ask because I was troubleshooting my system for very low flow and noticed this piece broke off leaving a hole in the diaphragm

I have slow rising sprinklers and at some point during its funcion the zone starts losing pressure . HELP ! HELP ! HELP !
@BudgetPlants
@BudgetPlants 20 күн бұрын
It’s possible that there is a break in the lateral line or at one of the heads. When it’s on, look all around for areas that may become over saturated. That’s the most telltale sign. Another possible issue could be improper wiring of the valves. I’ve seen instances where two valves have been accidentally wired together causing them to both go on at the same time. This creates too much draw on the system which would count for low pressure.

Yes we have a couple too...andnext time I am buying a native US tree like a beautiful Autumn maple, Sweet Bay flowering Magnolia, or a romantic Fringe Tree.
