Years ago I had hemorrhoid surgery and they wouldn't let me out of the hospital until I took a dump I tried and tried and could not do it it hurts so bad for so long So I may have went for almost a month without using the bathroom but I couldn't feel it I was getting worried so when they let me out of the hospital I walked down the railroad tracks and after a mile I had to let go and thank God there were leaves and other things in the weed pile to wipe my butt on man that was the best of s*** I ever took

It’s funny that I just stumbled across driving shoes today. When I try for long periods of time, usually 8 to 11 hours, I usually just take my shoes off and do it barefoot. I have greater sensitivity when I’m accelerating and decelerating in my feet feel more airy.

Thanks. I saw and heard someone playing this many years ago. It was beautiful, but I couldn't figure out what was happening. Your explanation was very good.

Thanks mate, I agree that the sound is very special. The Stick takes the best from several instrument categories. It is similar to playing the piano but you have the expressiveness of a guitar with bends and vibrato which is impossible on a piano. And then you also have the percussive nature of the playing style and it is also a bass 😊

the bass reduction is still very impressive. your final wall while having much better performance overall its much lower in the bass, especially important for bass head's room with subwoofers.

My dude, if you can even begin to play this, I don't think you count as a beginner anymore. You're way past me, and the most intricate thing I can play is Our Apologies by Mushroomhead. And that's a struggle. I couldn't even hope to play Bleed.
3 ай бұрын
If that is the case, I might be the only [somewhat experienced/not beginner drummer] out there that does not know how to play a single song yet 🤣🤣 I have only practised Bleed for these years since I started and since I can't play that one 100% that means I don't know any song at all haha. As long as your song portfolio is greater than >1 song I think you are still past me mate ;) Appreciate the feedback. I am very interested in seeing how much of the knowledge I gained with Bleed that will translate to other songs. I also think I might be ready to translate to acoustic drums. I have only played the pads until now. One option could be to buy a snare drum for example and convert the kit one drum at a time. No need to buy a whole kit all at once. A "Hybrid kit" could be fun too. I think that the kick would probably see the most benefit, because my TD-20KX only uses the simple kick pad and it doesn't feel natural.

This was very thorough and easy to follow for a complete novice like myself. Thankyou! Just one question - Is there an effective method for mitigating this noise from a shared party wall? Our neighbour has a subwoofer the other side and can hear a feint 'booming' as you described in this video. I'm planning to build a de-coupled structure away from the party wall, fill the void with insulation, and attach a new thicker drywall (lined with MLV), then seal all around. Before embarking on this project, will these measures make any noticeable difference to these low frequency noises? Thank you :)

Appreciate the video man. So, when working in your DAW (dBFS), faders also behave on a logarithmic scale. How does this affect your mixing process and what do u think is something important to have into account? Thanks.

Is it possible to use this with a micro ATX board (in a ATX case)?
6 ай бұрын
Hi, I am using a GB-001 right now with an ITX board in a Lian Li Air Mini. Works perfectly. I cant see any problems using it with MATX in an ATX case. It should even be easier, because you can mount the GB-001 in the unused ATX mounting holes. That's what I did with my ITX board. You can just double check the hole patterns in your case and you should be good.
@kuristofaah
@kuristofaah 6 ай бұрын
@ That's great, thank you! For some reason the Lian Li product page only says "compatible with ATX and E-ATX sized motherboard" but I guess that means any motherboard with compatible mounting hole pattern.
6 ай бұрын
@@kuristofaah that's correct! as long as you have the two mounting holes available and accessible, you should be fine. I did have some problem mounting it on a Strix X570 ATX board. There was an M2 heatsink blocking one of the screws. And I couldn't move it to the next row either, because the SATA connectors were just a little too high so I couldn't get the GPU to snap into place. It was a 3080ti with an enourmous cooler. With a "normal" GPU it would probably have worked. I have used the GB-001 in two other systems with zero issues. And it would have worked in the X570 board two, but I didn't want to drill a hole in the heatsink. I just found another anti-sag solution, the one that you attach to the pcie slots. A simple magnetic pole stand would also work

Yeah agreed, the bevel forms quite fast@@ReX0o0 . I don't play guitar that much nowadays, only drums. But when I seriously played guitar some 5-10 years ago, I recognize what you are saying. I found it a bit annoying and always switched to a fresh pick before any important session in the studio or a concert. For practice, I wasn't too picky about the pick 😅
7 ай бұрын
Never heard about these huys, but that was some impressive rhythm picking indeed! Thanks! I think one important factor is to use as little gain/distorsion as possible. Get the powerful sound from the picking instead of the amp. Some people distort so hard that it loses too much definition IMO. I am running with a Keeley C4 and a VH4. I think I have found my perfect match =) @@ReX0o0 One day I must revisit Bleed on the guitar again. I have been practising it on the drums now every day for almost five years. Every single rhythm pattern is integrated in my DNA. Should be quite helpful when playing it on the guitar. I really love this song, it is so challenging and fun

I observed from the graph that the example partition exhibits a sound reduction value of approximately 15dB - 25dB at frequencies below 125Hz. What would be considered a suitable sound reduction value for those frequencies in a recording studio soundproofing design? Thanks
