Hey, maybe you know what's wrong with me. since birth I have a problem with the rotation of my hand, I can't just rotate it in any way, on the x-rays it turned out that I have a slightly fused bone, is there anything they could do to fix it

This video literally changed my life. Been in and out of PT for years and have been working with a personal trainer for almost a year now, and this is the first time I can execute a push up without shoulder pain 🥲 Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise! 👏🏼♥️

I keep getting the first injury you mentioned (ECU - extensor tendon). Maybe at the rate of once a year or so. I fix it with rest but it sucks losing a month to that every year.

Are there more exercises to treat this condition? I injured myself doing military press, now standing straight or sitting for long periods hurts, I can barely do any physical activity without pain. I’m 19 years old and this has been going for 1 year. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

Hello James, I’ve been injured for one year due to exceeding my limits in military press. I’ve got chronic upper back pain that hurts doing literally any activity. It also hurts my rhomboids when I stand up straight for to long, sit or lift my arms overhead. Recently a doctor recommended a cortísone injection( Im 19 years old). I would really appreciate any help. I’m from Spain so I can’t get direct treatment from you. It seems I have thorasic extension syndrome as you described in your video. Extension always hurts, but protraction relieve my pain. I’ve tried almost everything

So if you find yourself falling backwards, do you just try bailing to the side? Nice to know how the injury happens, but advice on how to prevent it other than ‘seek easier terrain’ would be welcomed.

Question, I'm on my 5th day out of the cast after a wrist fracture. My extension is close to zero. I feel like to push the limit it has to pop, it's like something is blocking the movement. That pain from a pop goes straight to the core, i almost jumped off my chair. Is it normal or could something be off? If I'm not wrong, the pain is localized in dorsal radial section. Should I suck it up and keep popping it or just keep it moving at the current range? I don't really sick any improvement in my extension in these first 5 days.

Sorry, but I disagree... I was a tennis pro and I had to end my career cause to this injury. I tried everything doctors recommended to me, like making a break with tennis, make some physical treatments, make some bandages around it, putting some ointment on it... Nothing helped. I cost our health system about 20.000 Euro. After one painful year doctors recommended surgery. Cutting a nerve, restructuring the TFCC and so on. I denied surgery but I had to give up my tennis career. --- I did not play tennis for 10 years. Without playing tennis the pain was bearable and got slightly better. Then after 10 years it was so good that I tried playing tennis again. After 3 hours the old pain reoccurred and I had to stop the match. ---- And then I started doing exercises. Several hours per day. I did nothing else then figuring out which exercise helps and which not. After two months of doing these exercises the wrist was completely recovered. So, if anybody has this problem, no matter how bad it is: There is a way for a complete recreation of the wrist without surgery. Keep that in your mind. I was no more able to hold a cup of tea and put on my socks without severe pain - and now I have the strongest wrist in the whole district.

Years ago I fell backward off a gardener's ladder and dislocated my left wrist on impact with a concrete driveway. Didn't get much physiotherapy so over the intervening decades the upper flexibility of the wrist has been about 45 degrees forced, while the lower deflection of the wrist is just 5 degrees, forced. Would there be any benefit to attempting wrist flex exercises at this point? When the injury first occurred I could not even lift cutlery with that left hand, but before long I could bench press my body-weight. Holding the wrist immobile while lifting weights enabled me to continue working out. All the same, any accidental impact on that left hand has always remained excruciatingly painful, and I am wondering whether or not it is simply too late for me to derive benefit from the wrist flex exercises you describe in this video clip. Any thoughts you can find a moment to share would be appreciated, sir.

Hey James, I know this video is old, but I hope you get this. My question is, I'm having pain in the bottom part of the chest and upper rib area on my left side from golf. It seems to get better, when I take time off, but after I go hit balls again, it comes back. I got X-rays to make sure I didn't have a hairline crack or anything in my ribs. Any Ideas on getting it healed or preventing it? Thanks.

So I'm 62. I had a fall on the 4th. First set if xrays the fracture was not picked up. I ended up with an " impacted distal radial fracture" At the time of injury I had pain on both my thumb..radial side and my pinkie ulnar side. But no fractures were on Ulna. I've had the cast on 2 weeks and have zero pain on mr fracture side, but my ulnar side wrist and forearm are killing me. Is this normal for a DRF. Are there exercises I can do while in the cast? Thsnks so much.

Sorry. It's not that simple. This is dangerous. Don't just do more pushups if you have impingement. There are many rehab exercises you need to do before injuring yourself even further. Some of them involve stretching as well. This is like saying "got a bum knee? Do more squats". No

That was very informative. Thank you , i sufferered a bad trip maybe 2inch off ground and landed on my left hand primarily i had to go undergo ORIF for distal radius fracture within 24hrs, my issue was that my post op x-ray wasn't conclusive enough so I'm having to wait an extra month for a CT scan result so iv been in the splint for 9/10weeks as opposed to 6weeks originally. Bout a week or so ago my arm started to come 'alive' so to speak as in I was waking up and I would strain my body and it would feel more there like it wanted out the splint. Now 3days ago I took the splint off, iv had great mobility in fingers etc since first few weeks but now my wrist feels frozen I can maybe move it 25degrees horizontal and maybe 20degree vertically. This is my first broken bone / op so I'm quite freaked out my physio should of started 3weeks ago I've been stuck in for 3months in agony cos of the splint I really think it's held me back with the late time scale. Saying that it's only been 72hrs out there is no major pain, more tight/sore and the whole hand is slowly becoming looser. The main issue I have is my hand is now domed to the shape of the splint I'm guessing this will go away over time? Thanks for any help oh and frozen wrist I can just bout 360 it but not by much
