did you also try 4.5.0 ? I already had this one installed and am wondering if 5.1 is worth the risk of upgrading ? thanks for sharing !

@@FPV-FlyWithMe everyone told me 4.5 was better than 4.4. They both performed the same for me. I saw better improvement by lowering the GPS baud rate from 115k to 56k.

Drones need to be operated much more delicately than expected. As much as it can capture stunning scenery and impossible videos, it must be handled with care. The awesome videos you shot are amazing. Very good. Looking forward to another great video. I support you. 👍

This was flown with default Betaflight settings....which were surprisingly good. I need to tune my rates to get it more cinematic and not herky-jerky on the sticks! Also, my green props haven't arrived yet, should be here today. Thinking about green antennas as well, but I really like these iFlight Albatross V2.

@HuyPham-ub1kx If you're having problems with the defaults, use a heavy battery. I'm using the iFlight 8000mah Li-Ion and it's a brick. I had bobbles with smaller batteries.

Don't use the O3 in auto! The footage is ok, but looks much better in manual and with an ND filter. I bought a cheap replacement for my K&F that I broke and it flew off while testing!! Don't buy cheap!

What would be your opinion on using T-Motor F100 1100KV motors? Where do you get a tune or PIDS at?

They will work fine. For PIDs/Tune, I used the filter preset for 10". Left everything else at default. Everything looked good in PIDTOOLBOX. No hot motors.

Unfortunately, after updating the firmware, minor tuning is also needed. The nose of this quad used to dip when I'd drop throttle. I also had some nose bobbles at speed. All that is gone after tuning. Next up is to test the GPS Rescue.

I fly most often from the NVRC field near Bull Run. We should get together sometime to fly. Not many of us are flying the Chimera9. I like the Chimera line very much (I have the Chimera 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and the 9 (with the exception of the 9 I have several configurations of each of the others).

When I turned at 3:20, I had no 🤬 clue where I was! Glad I had the home direction arrow turned on! I have a replacement ND filter on order. Hopefully I receive it soon!

The only presets I used were for ELRS 250mhz control and filters, I used the dirty build (it's also meant for 10" and larger quads). To tune the quad, I used PIDTOOLBOX basement tuning method.

It wasn't too bad. I struggled with pitch oscillation. I used the filter preset for 10" and that cleaned it up, no hot motors.

Nice. I'm looking at building this but wondering what length of cable did you use for the DJI 03 camera, and do you see the props when flying or did you crop them out of your video?

I used the 21cm cable. I do have props in view but it's due to how tall these motors are. People who have used shorter motors don't have props in view. They're just barely in view. I think if I move my camera forward a cm or two, I'd be good.

4K/30...1/60 shutter. It's my settings in Gyroflow. I have another video using @CREASE settings. It did the zoom in again, but not nearly as much.

I live inside the 15-30 mile Washington DC SFRA. There's a lot of helicopter traffic in this area. There are no mountains to surf here. As much as I'd like to 'send it' long range, the only place to do that in this area is over water. Eventually I'll head out west where it's more open and less helicopters to truly fly long range.
