8" 367mm HSKRC Mak4 V2 Long Range Build Maiden Flight

Watch as I take my new 8" long range FPV build for its maiden flight at sunset in Kincheloe Soccer Park in Clifton, VA. The stunning sunset backdrop makes for an epic first flight experience! Using a HRB 4S 5000 maH lipo battery that I had for a different project, I was able to fly for 15+ minutes. I still have more setup and testing to do, but I have the tune pretty much dialed in.

I live inside the 15-30 mile Washington DC SFRA. There's a lot of helicopter traffic in this area. There are no mountains to surf here. As much as I'd like to 'send it' long range, the only place to do that in this area is over water. Eventually I'll head out west where it's more open and less helicopters to truly fly long range.
