Its 2am in Denver and I could not figure out why it would not start, after a perfect carb cleaning. I did not align the choke lever. You Mr Maldonado said, do not forget to connect the enrichment lever!! Thank you so very much. ITS ALIVE!!!

I replaced the idle pulley and still won't spin when i start it. What else could it be? The belt looks fine

Your idling is too low. Beats hell out of the lower end. I remove the sparkplugs and roll the starter. The starter stays cool, and will pump out your lines and sump.

I replaced my idle pulley this way yesterday. It can be done this way but it a little tighter work space wise. Also a bit of advice, lay some sort of cloth down over the metal edges of the hole you are working through. Those metal edges are sharp and will cut you easily, trust me I know after three gashes on my forearms.

wow thank you for the great instruction! please note that mine did not assemble with the squealer on the outside. had to be assembled on the inside because of the rivets that were under the caliper. no room to install the caliper. Inspected the other side and the squealer was on the inside makes more sense for the squealer to be inside because it's the higher temp side. you call let me know

You are getting ugly crimps because you are crimping multiple times and not using the crimp specific dies. When you use the correct dies, you crimp once and get a perfect crimp.

Not all LG washers have a hall sensor (aka rotor position sensor). The models ending in CW (Cold Wash) generally use the control board to control the motor and there is no hall sensor. If you have a LE error on these machines you need to check for physical damage to the stator or wire harness, and use a multimeter to check for continuity and resistance. In rare cases it could be the PCB board (as the board controls the motor speed). You can google "LG xxxx parts diagram" where xxx is the model number to determine if your machine has a hall sensor. Stators and PCB boards are very expensive parts... wire harnesses are cheaper and you can often splice/repair them yourself.

So I have a question. My tumbler isn't spinning, so I went through your procedure to look at the belt and tension pulley. Both were OK. So I start the dryer and there's a buzzing from the motor but it isn't spinning. I reach in and pull the belt to rotate the tumbler and it starts spinning and running fine. I stop it and try to start it again. Doesn't run till I pull the belt again then runs like a champ. I let it run for 20 minutes to see if it would restart. Nope. Gotta pull the belt or manually start the tumbler. Is this some kind of 2-speed motor with a higher torque speed to get it started or is there some kind of relay that does higher torque to get the tumbler spinning or is it something like a motherboard? Any input would help and if you know approximate prices on the parts, that could give me guidance also. Thank you.

You still need to check the end play on the cam with the gasket and cam cover in place and the bolts torqued. Reach through the lifter block holes in the engine block and check with a feeler gauge
