I've always loved railroad crossings that are near hydro towers I don't know why but I've thought of it as a good combination

Brenton81 do you know why at the end at 2:36 the gateless signals including the bell shut off when the last car was still over the crossing?

No one really has a definitive answer after all these years. They were in the process of installing new signals and detection equipment at the time, and it was just some sort of malfunction.

They did. They're incandescent lights, not LEDs, so they're a bit hard to see in the sun if you're off axis.
