My father was born in 1923. This car is an example of what was on the roads in that year. 🥸

Wrong. You start the machine before adding clothes so you don’t overload as you did!! Smh

😊😊 all of tge old school 🏫 😊 mechanics I knew when I was a kid many years ago would overhaul the engines there self cars trucks and tractors 🚜 😊 or U took things 2 the old people U knew who done ✔️ 😊, all of tge great 👍 😊 work and the people who had done it 4 many years and good machine shops the old engines did use babbitt bearings years ago U had 2 make the molds 4 them and pre heat the bearing beds and even after U poured them U had 2 file them and they didn't turn many RPMS and most of the old tractor engines were the same way 😊😊 and in 1938 they had changed 2 insert bearings 4 the crank main and rod ,cam bearings and after a engine has been overhauled it should run smooth just like 👍 😊 a brand new sewing machine and U should be able 2 take a penny or a nickel and put it on top of the vavle cover and it should stay there and not move 😊😊 many years ago I seen a model T engine running so smooth and quite the only way U know it was running U had 2 look at the water 💧 😊 pump fan turning it was not out of balance either 😊😊 OMG 1 4 2O25

I really enjoyed this video, I have seen a couple of other babit videos, but none that showed any machine or finishing work, Do you save the leftovers from machining and re melt them?

Beautiful machinery! Been looking forward to the next installment. I would consider putting an emergency stop button on that lathe! I should also take my own advice on my 14x30 1956 Hendey; one of these days. Thanks for taking the time to entertain us on the cool kid's sidelines.
