That's just straight up insane. I love Fami's technical style. It fits so well with M & M. The "Judgement Day" solo run is the best I've ever heard, ever. Fami's bass lines make it a triple solo run. The music video/studio makes it shine the most.

I'm 70 y.o. and from Las Vegas. OK, since you are interested in the bass, I have a couple awesome ones for you. If you don't know BandMaid (723K subs) yet, you need to. They are every bit as good as LOVEBITES (148K subs) (Both are awesome). Another all female band from Japan. They play many genres, even within a single song, but would be considered more Hard Rock than metal. Of course some of their songs are, or have, metal elements in them. The talent pool of female musicians in Japan runs very deep. You will find that all the fan bases fro these groups are pretty cool, with a lot of crossover fans among them. In a recent (now deleted) post on X Fami, who I believe is self-taught, stated that she was going back to basics and having lessons on the bass.

She was 17 when she did that. She's 21 now. Imagine what she'll be like at 30. I don't know what they're feeding Japanese girls these days, but whatever it is, it's working.

FAMI comes from japanese pop and now she is a monster of metal! Maybe she is a bit more technical than Miho, but we can't forget that Miho composed some of the best and more loved songs of Lovebites: "Hammer of wrath", "Break the wall", "Thunder vengeance", etc... We will not forget her❤

They are phenomenal. Best metal band to come along in many decades. They get more impressive as you dive deeper. The entire Japanese metal/rock scene has an incredibly deep pool of talented bands....many all-females.

When you use headphones to watch your video ( it's make me out of your purpse). I think it is to fix it in the settings mode of your microphone or your recording software.

Well done Dave. As you can imagine, every old metalhead loves this band because they are amazing musicians, brilliant composers. They adjust old metal to nowdays in their own magic way.

Nice reaction, right in the beginning you told that you play bass and Iron Maiden and Judas Priest were some of your influences and at that moment I already knew that you'll quickly become a fan of lovebites. Just go on with reacting to Lovebites and the wolfpack (all of their fans) will follow your channel. My recommendation for you is Shadowmaker, that was the first song I saw from them and I was mesmerized by the quality of musicianship, highly technical and melodic at the same time and great songwriting too.

I love that moment SO much, so no apologies needed. When Fami is doing her solo and Asami gives her the thumbs up and a big smile, it's such a great moment! Love it. Great reaction! I just wanted to chime in because the bass rarely gets enough love, and Fami is phenomenal, as they all are. We Are the Resurrection, the official live video, might be a fun one for you. I love that song for two things: Asami rolling along with her vocals and then coming out and soaring way up above in the chorus, and then the chuggida chuggida of the bass line. Love the bass in that song. Soldier Stands Solitarily has a great bass moment and is a killer song. Judgement Day (I prefer the live version but the MV is great) has a great bass solo intro and outtro. Finally, Break the Wall (the 2020 live version) has an amazing breakdown with Miho on bass. Some of my favorite bass moments from so, so many.

Great reaction, you have a new subscriber. I am so glad that I have "found" these highly talented artists. I agree to your opinion that - besides all these influences (Iron Maiden, Helloween, Metallica, Judas Priest etc.) - they create their own genre. Miyako composes most of their music, Asami writes most of the lyrics. Their range is so wide - from thrash/speed/power metal to wonderful ballads (I especially love Swan Song with the Chopin Intro and Frozen Serenade) and there is no bad song. I really hope that this band will go on for a lot of years in future.

just the tip of the ice berg - the Japanese music scene is pretty incredible these days - something for everybody and a lot of it...the musicianship is world class and usually delivered with a smile and enthusiasm...there's a lot of metal/hard rock going back to the late '00s that you should enjoy. Life is short. Instead of waiting for them to come to you, it’s better to book a flight to Japan. I heard about a British fan who flew all the way from the UK to see their show, and that gave me the push I needed to attend their concert. It was my first rock concert in 30 years, and it was incredible. I went again the following year, and I’ll probably go next year too. Let’s keep supporting them together. Thank you.
