On a j toe like that you want it a half to a full size big. I can wear a 9 1/2 d in square toe but in a j toe i have to go 10. Shark stingray alligator giraffe and elephant skins i have to go 91/2ee. All my tony lamas are American made though from texas they make them cheap now so they probably like some justins since thats the company that bought them out in the 90s the vintage American made tony lamas are great. I got grandpas old ones and them things is 40 n 30 years old now and still look great. Since you here in the lees summit area or wherever you should check out olathe boots in olathe ks or niigros in kck. Olathe boots are expensive but they are top of the line quality and dont have the cheap sloppy cutting corners finish you would get from a pair of 179- $250 ariats laredos or justins Id put tony lamas new hipster made in mexico makeover on the same level as those probably.

The tony lamas are excellent boot. Make sure your toes are able to hit the bottom of the boot while also your heel sits at the very end. If you wiggle your foot forward and find there is a gap in the heel then it doesnt fit. The boot WILL stretch! It will be TIGHT but they will break in I assure you. Itll fit like a glove. If your toes dont hit the bottom in the first place, it will stretch then your boot will be too big!

If I kept having the problem you are having I think I would find a local store that sells Tony Lama's and go there and try on the boot I want until I find the perfect fit. Ordering online sucks when trying to get proper fit for footwear.

I have a pair of Tony Llamas that are a 10EE that fit perfectly and a pair of Tony’s that are 11D and they fit perfect. ? The 10EE boots are china made and the 11D boots are Made in Mexico.

I have 2 pair that I’m stuck with. One pair is Tony Lama’s R Toe full quill ostrich cognac 10.5 D. The other is a Tony Lama’s R Toe Twisted X Roper 10.5 D. Both are very pretty boots but they hurt like hell! Wish there was a way to swap them or sell them!

I wear a 9.5 ee in my Justin’s but in tony lama and red wing I wear and 8.5 ee i couldn’t tell you how many pair I went through trying to figure out what size I need. I wished they would make all of em fit the same

Wish I had caught this video a week ago. Just bought a pair of Lamas in my normal size (10.5D) off ebay. My Justins are perfect at that size, but these are right on the cusp of being too small.

Lucchese is the only boot to buy. All others are hit or miss..Better to own 1 pair of Lucchese's than 3 pair of anything.

Everytime I open up my popup I find a screw laying on top of the mattress. Rebuilding the roof will be required soon. I watched all three parts and it looks like this is the best way to rebuild these old roofs. How is the roof holding up over time? Looks like the build could take a weekend and then another weekend to seal it water tight. Nice work!

From the way you described it why not get that exact boot in a 9.5D? Its good not to have your toes at the end of the boot like you will in the 9EE. And of course Im gonna add just go get you a Lucchese 9.5D and be done with it 😃. Im a 10.5 nike and I wear a 10D Lucchese. Time is money. And all the time you’ve spent could’ve made up the difference in price 😂👍🏻
