I sold this a week later!!! I would not advise putting one on your 650. It busted part after part!! I just received a notice about these comments. I hope you guys aren't having the problems I did with it!!!!!

Thank you for delivering a great video! I, as you, have really wondered about the actual workings of the drive mechanism. Too cool! Now that I have seen the smoothness, I will get one for my 650! Again, thank you!

nooooo.. I had problem after problem.. it busted the case feeder arm... it busted the plastic piece that advances the shell plate. I think the 650 is not set up to run this reliably witch is a bummer cause it was really cool until I tried to actually load with it!

I'm trying to throw up some red flags and if you guys subscribe I'll do a video explaining why I sold it and the problems it had. I'll also point out what I think needs to be done to make it work. I have 2 650's and absolutely love them but that autodrive was a headache. if you have any questions you can also email me at ty_markle@yahoo.com just in case I don't get these notices.

I just bought one and the first thing I noticed (although too late) was Dillon's main ram twisted because of all of the slop in the P-W links. There is a ton of slop between the two link pins on the crank arm and also a ton of slop where P-W pins to the Dillon Ram. The Dillon cross pin measures .549, P-W cross pin measures .544. On the ram end the P-W links ride on a very sloppy 3/8x16 thread and the P-W cross pin . I tore up my case handler before I noticed how far it had twisted. I may machine my own links, more than likely it's going back. Buyer beware, these things are close to $1,000.00. I get the arthritis part, that's why I started down this path. I do have a P-W 800 Plus with their motor drive and it chugs along flawlessly in 12, 20, 28, and .410. I don't hate P-W, but this was a pretty big ball drop in my opinion.

Telesaurus yep... sucks because it would be nice. If you have the means you could mill the ram and casing and then run a key to act as a follower. I think that would keep it straight enough to run.

im having trouble lining everything up, i feel like its off center by a 1/4". could you check the midline/center of the press (spkitting the left side from the right) in regards to the piece of metal that the two elbows pass next two. the two pieces that connect to the bottom of the press, the bend like elbows and each one goes on each side of a cross member that supports the bottom of the press. wondering if that piece of metal is suppose to be center with the press or not

Google 650 automation and you should be able to find a version for it. I wound up removing this set up for my 650. I had problem after problem with it. There's a newer version for a 650 then the one I was running though with a better clutch set up. I haven't tried it though. If you wanna run automation I'd go to the 1150 system. It's set up better for it then a 650. The 650 really needs a guide rod system for automation.

General Steven D. Lee 5683 I bought mine used for $450. New they're a $950. After I made this video I had a few problems with it and sold it. I just don't think the 650 is a good candidate for automation. I kept breaking parts. It could of just been the drive I had I guess but man it was a headache. Ammobot makes one that id go with over the ponsness if you have to have one. I'd recommend going with the 1050 over the 650 though for sure. Good luck
