"to defeat the enemy, be the enemy" - watching as a submariner because CVs are quite prickly customers for us. (And yes i am also playing every other class and actually have found the Spanish and South American cruisers really fun, plus i am in love with the IJN and USN battleships)

Just got the enterprise in a loot box and i never really played CVs before. I really want to use her because my grandpa served on her so this was a great video. I really appreciate it. I think ill practice some more at tier 6 first.

like your info, how do you deal with being the only tier 8, in a tier 10 battle, since everything in the game kills your planes before you can do anything?

Generally means they've given up map control which is good. Usually the blobs don't stay together long and someone is alone. Consider attacking the red CV after pre dropping or making sure the DDs are accounted for

Is your carrier doctrine (left lower corner) in any particular order of priority, or to be fitted to the circumstances of the moment? An even more important question than what CAN be focused by the team is what CAN'T be focused by the team and requires your special attention.

Absolutely to be fitted for the moment, good question! #1 rule is to stay aware, be flexible, & do what you gotta do. For sure on second line, just make sure it's something doing something important like getting on the side or spotting (a hidden DD, which I believe is what you're referring to), and not a battleship far back sniping with crap guns right.

You may know this by now, but I think the New Mexico specifically has too much armor to get to her cit with T6 bombs. There is an occasional luck shot that will get one, but almost impossible normally.

I got a bad feeling about it but we'll see. They could be humane and make the price comparable to other tier 8 CVs, after you do the missions, or they'll make you refinance..

CV s are just cannon fodder . Planes flying 5x faster than ships yet they can turn out even when being dive bombed . For no reason fly eight planes only two attack !!!! never read of that in WW2 . Destroyers can cross battlefield in in two flights of my planes then i am sunk . Assuming you actually do hit Torpedoes have minimal damage . And now you have fuel issue so have 3 min of travel till have too comeback . Nerfed would be understatement .

Buffing AA is going to absolutely awesome for all those uptiered by 2 TVIII Carriers trying to play . /s Tbh, I think all those people whining about CVs and yellng "AA BAD!" just do not know how to play . If you are a TVIII CV, and uptiered by 2 being the only TVIII, and the opfor knows what they are doing...you are not going anywhere, and you are not doing nothing . Their AA just shreds you . Also, planes not spotting ? Like, "WTF?" . And on't get me started on them breaking attacks into 2 Phases .

There is legit no reason to go after anything but a BB with these changes, only thing likely to be spotted and only thing that can't just completely negate your attack with a 90 degree instant turn. A CV that cannot spot DDs is worthless and pointless to play.

Great video man! I share your opinion...if they really want to do this, then it will require so much more balancing, tweaking, redesigning and even then I highly doubt that it will be anything better than what we currently have. Id wish they revisit the minimap spotting option with some smaller tweaks and most importantly do a public test, not just closed testing. They said it did not work out, but I want to actually see it. If they however just push what they currently testing on live, Im gonna quit on CVs lol..

They completely changed them since then, and it looks like they will be changing it again soon. Some CV use different weapons! Lot of things for you to discover :)

I was going to buy Kaga to farm xp, thanks for the tips. X CV torp my ARP YAMATO 3 times and sink it from full health is kind of op (forcing me to group up with others and still no good really). I will do IV and VI CV till better at it first.
