Tell us more about.. what you’re thinking … my understanding is he was hit by the passenger side wide towing mirror of a white Ford Pickup.. and the vehicle took off likely drunk .. so …. left for dead …hit and run.

I worked for the American record label (Ariola) that distributed and promoted Prism. Spent a lot of time with the band while they toured and Ron was always great to work with and always ready for whatever was next. Such a terrible loss.

The first time we were here we saw a Canadian woman walk out of her house and walk her dog in the US. Half an hour later, after we'd walked around in Canada taking pictures, as we walked back into the US she was going back into her house. In the 90s one of my friends, Cliff, used to smuggle fireworks into Canada for Chinese New Year. He'd go down with his friends in a car and buy a load of fireworks on the reservations. They'd go into Peace Arch Park then two would cross into Canada with the fireworks. The other two would then take the car across at the truck crossing and pick them up. Years later Cliff was working in Silicon Valley and bought his first car. He decided to drive home to show his parents. He pulled into the customs channel on the Canadian side and pulled out his passport. The border guard looked him right in the eyes and said "No fireworks this time Cliff?" They had always known. Entering Canada as an American is always more pleasant than entering the US as an American.

JCVC you do a lot of videos about Graves etc and there's nothing wrong with that at all. You be you. However, one doesn't go from being alive to unalive. One goes from being alive to being even more alive and on an exponential level. Those friends who died, they would all say in common, "Don't you worry about a thing. Our friendship is on another level. If you could see me now. I don't remember the details. I inky remember the love." The array of powers that those in the afterlife have are unimaginable. They exist in a time dynamic where time travel is time experienced on an objective level and not on a subjective level. That's what Einstein meant when he said linear time is an illusion all is happening simultaneously. Psychics say that those who have graduated to the majorly phase of life send us signs. There is direct communication, indirect communication and there is signs. At first it seems that the direct form is the most direct. In time one finds that the direct is least direct because people can lie and that signs are the most direct from of communication. I wish you the best. Your videos are life changing. Very high quality. There is something nostalgic about them I like the Jericho Hostel and the Vancouver Museum and the Vancouver Maritime Museum videos of yours the best.

So how exactly was the ending of this man’s life sad ? Or am I subject to yet another misleading video title ? I’m just trying to learn about who my grandmother shared the stage with at the White Rock Playhouse , and why this man’s name always preceded him . The video was informative for its 5 minutes but the title left a lot to be desired . Overall , Pretty mid if u ask me. Just another westerner glazing and romanticizing a lifestyle that predated his North American existence; and in all likelihood understanding very little of it

Didn't Bogdanovich get put beside her? I recall reading of his passing, and the mention that he would be put beside her. It means he paid for the funeral, and he bought two plots. One for Stratten, and himself. I may be wrong, but it makes sense.

Mr. Loney was a French teacher at Sutherland Secondary School until the day he retired. He often gave his Canucks tickets away to students who had received 100% on a Qiuz or on a birthday. Those musical notes on his headstone are in fact, the first 4 notes of O' Canada. Good guess!

I didn't know Dorothy but was born the same year as she. I knew a girl around the same time span, and she ended up dying the same senseless death as Dorothy the following year, maybe six or seven months after Stratten. Same down to earth, beautiful, full of life, and talking about her future with a smiling face young girl. Somebody close to almost fifty put a bullet into her head, and shot himself in the chest, but not into the heart area where he would have died. He was claiming it was an act of suicide together, but it made no sense. He was tried, found guilty of murder and sentenced to life. Don't know if he is still alive. He would be in his late eighties by now if he is. I just wished Dorothy Stratten would have taken control of her own life instead of following the advice of certain men in her life. Perhaps she was born to follow, and that is what hastened her future into ending so quickly. Her flame was a huge one with many moths attracted to it. Nobody will ever leave beauty alone.
