Love that type of staple remover. That’s all I’ve used for 30 plus years.

Wonderful bag. Such a good job on the curved top…no rippling and fits perfectly. Whew! Gonna make it!

So you are doing a Christmas present on the 23rd? Reminds me of hemming my wedding dress the night before my wedding!

I can't wait to see this one completed!! Your tips on the vinyl is spot on! I use temps between 275 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit for my vinyls as well.

I’m fairly new to your channel, you really do a nice job of explaining procedures. I must confess I prefer the videos over the live but that’s just easier for me. Thank you, I do love this pattern. I’m retired now and just don’t need a big bag. ❤

when quilting do cut the same size foam or 1/4 smaller all around? And did you still use the decovile lite?
@SiahSwag3 күн бұрын
I cut it the same size as the stabilizer so it is out of my seam allowance. No I do not use the decovil where I did the foam

You did a beautiful job on this bag. I’ve only used fold over elastic once but it didn’t give me the structure I wanted. Your bag looked better-is there different weights of fold over elastic? Again, you did a most beautiful job with the piping and binding. Thank you for doing this bag.
@SiahSwag7 күн бұрын
You are so welcome! I do not think there are different weights.

Also I have cats that throw ip all the time. I make a strong solution of Dawn dish soap and water. Like 1/4 cup each. Scrub in with a soft bristle brush, let set 30 min. Blot up rinse, blot and rinse a few times. Repeat if needed.

I always use that spray called resolve. It is for pets, but I always use that to get it out when my cat peed on the floor and she did that a lot. You spray a bunch on let it sit for a few minutes and then get a scrub brush and scrub it. Get a clean washcloth and pat it dry, step on it and soak it up is what I used to do.

I like how you tell us not to let you forget to sew the D ring lol… I feel like there should be a little buzzer. We should be able to push when we see something like that happening!

I've had success removing stains using Oxy clean powder (not spray) I make a thick paste and rub it on the stain. Leave it over night. It might temporarily turn green. The next day vacuum up the dried paste and then blot with water damp cloth repeatedly to remove excess. This even removes red wine and chocolate stains off my white fabric DR chairs.

Did you use this black and white checked vinyl on your Brunella bag? I have some and now I'm concerned the black is going to rub off. Would it be okay to use in a two tone strap?

Once a quilter always a quilter....it is in our blood..................the table you sew at when making a bag and you clip pieces to go to another piece, are you keeping them on the table or behind you on something? I am going cra cra with the mess..........I missed what you have hanging on the door, zipper, webbing?
