With all those layers, is it possible to sew on a domestic machine? Love this style

Great to see you using the cylinder arm with the table. I bought a cylinder arm to make bags with that has a table thinking I can make the entire bag up on it, using and removing the table as needed. I fumble with getting the stuff under the foot and grabbing the threads too. I feel like I need a second set of arms at times 😂

Yay!! Look at you showing the cylinder arm who's the boss. LOL You did great!! I think I am gonna take the plunge and get one also. 😀

My humble opinion but the camera over your left shoulder shows what and how you are stitching better than the one behind the machine. Thanks for the tutorial. I want to try this bag.

Use a small magnet to hold your threads it does help 😊

Maybe you should have put the side double sided tape on before attaching them to the sides 🤷♀️ looks like a bit of a challenge to make, but soooo pretty. ❤❤

Love this bag. Just about to start making it. I’m a complete beginner with regard to bag making but I’m an experienced dressmaker, so hopefully all will go well! I’m also a graphic designer and I really wouldn’t have chosen that lining pattern with the outer color you have used for your bag, it doesn’t go at all, but great job otherwise! A pale blue, pink or lilac outer color would have been perfect with that lining!

I love the combo but not everyone has the same tastes and that’s okay! Thanks for the input 😊

Awesome bag, you asked last week for new thread colour ideas, have you got one that is the old gold that would match that vinyl?

Hi from the uk, Love your tutorials, the nylon lining you use is that like rip stop fabric?

Sewing the sides in with your cylinderarm machine looks very awkward, very uncomfortable. But the result seems to be quite satisfying. 😍

lol yep, I think it takes practice too!

Could I by pass the side snaps if I know the wearer will have it absolutely jam packed? Will it still zip if I don’t use the side snaps?
@SiahSwag3 ай бұрын
Yes totally!!
@denneiseriedel34823 ай бұрын
I notice that on the end shot of the bag you did not have the sides clipped together. Is this because the magnetic snaps are not strong enough, and maybe snaps would work better?
@SiahSwag3 ай бұрын
No I just forgot to snap them, the 18mm are plenty strong
