Have you gotten the safety eye tool to work well on the tiny eyes? I for the life of me cannot get it to work. It keeps falling off and then I go to close it and it’s not closing. Maybe it’s me.

Your cats came out great. Do you have a trusted seller of those offset eyes that you could tell me about? And which size you recommend for these kittens I keep wanting to buy them but have heard some aren’t trustworthy to fall out if you have someone you like could you please share thank you.

I'm so sorry about your mom. Mine has late stage dementia and this was the first Christmas where she really didn't seem to know or care what was going on around her. It was rough.

I love Stacy’s Sitting birds pattern too. I’ve made too so far and just bought the black mystical today so will probably make a black one too. Your little dragons are “super” cute! I live in Florida also. I know what you mean about Christmas. It is hard it is just my husband and I. We have family but no one comes to our house to celebrate holidays. So happy you made all those sales at the store. Great job! I just recently joined a consignment store. I have been doing pretty good, but not like your sales.

@cottontailcrafts1719 Hi Heather Im sorry to hear about your mom. We lost my mom on Fathers Day in 2009 so I do understand. Just continue to be you and dont let others bother you! Your feeling are real and people should have empathy for that!. Love all your makes. Do you use Parfait Chunky for your dragons and what hook size do you use? Im trying to work through the pattern with a velvet type of yarn and its not working LOL. Thank you for sharing with us! Hugs and Love going your way. 💜💜💜

@@bearscritter Hello 😊 I use a 4.5mm hook with parfait chunky I used to use a 5mm hook but the quality had forced me to a 4.5 I haven't tried velvet yarn yet

I have a chick and egg pattern so in New Year I’ll be prepping those. I love the mystical yarn chicken. In my farm days I raised chickens for a few years and some had an orangey red comb. I totally understand how you feel. My mom died just a few days before Christmas and took me a few years to enjoy the season again. It’s been over 45 years and it’s still hard to think about her without tears.

Cute makes and I love the fidget toys! I have seen beads put in crochet to make fidget toys as well and they look fun. I hated Christmas as a kid because it was a time for my birth family to be even more horrible, and we had to go to a lot of different houses just to be bored. Now I work in hospitality and Christmas travelers are even worse than wedding people! At least some of the wedding people tip housekeeping. 🙄 This season motivated me to start looking into other industries to work in 2025. I hope next year is awesome for you Heather 🧡

I understand what you are going through my Mom has MS and dementia She is at home and my sister and I take care of her Its hard she calls me names every day and says she doesn’t know me I cry almost every single day before I go to work but all we can do is the best we can do

yes it is what it is,,, nothing we can do but move on,,, it is very hard,,, so I surround myself with positive people and am slowing cutting out negative people in my life, it's already made a difference

I am so sorry about your mom. But I hope what I say will help some. I no longer have mine. But I do is remember the good times, the lesson she taught me and that she would not want me to be sad. Mothers don't teach us about happiness for us to be depressed. One day you might walk and she remember you. She still love you. B blessed.

Sorry for your feelings about Christmas. My Dad passed away 2 weeks before Christmas a couple years ago so it's just not the same any more for me either. Hope you have a Happy New Year. PS Say the Word!!!! LOL

I started to make them as well. Good response. I hooked up with a 3 D vendor for the dragon eggs and sold three sets last market. The 3 D vendor will make some white chicken eggs and we will try colored eggs and crocheted eggs.
