I just spent over 1000 dollars on a 2024 LS2 helmet carbon fibre don't feel so happy now back to the AGV I guess I just wanted it because it was light in comparison my god I hope my helmet is better than that I wouldn't even feel good selling it grrrr

Tbh kinds funny people use hammers and baseball bats to hit helmets. You do realise hammers have a very small high impact zone compared to a head. Not sayin it doesnt show us something but still funny its not a great test. It is a 2014 old ls2 so idk if they are all chinese made but doubt it

When I saw a friend of mine lose his life after hitting a small pole that had a street sign on I knew helmets are not just hitting the street ...he died with a shit helmet ..wear one like this and you will die too after hitting the street sign pole ..it's a fair test of that be sure

I have been a biker since I was 16 and lost 12 friends along the way from biking accidents ..I have seen a few spills and if it wasn't for a shoei helmet when I was 31 I would not be around to tell ..A good Helmet is number one on the bike kit list . This LS2 is just junk I proved it ...nothing more

many very good helmets are made in china these days, almost everything is made in china... I am not saying the helmet is good or bad, just saying that the fact it was maybe made in china, means NOTHING!! the alpinstars GP10, and the agv pista rr both now being made in china... just saying, I honestly dont know what would happen if i smoked my agv pista visor with a hammer direct like that what would happen, but this was a super entertaining video!!

China does make alot. .however it is alot less than you think ..I own a manufacturing company in the UK yes stuff cost more but at least it last and is what we say ..china makes stuff cheap due to material degradation ..they lie about what things are made off ..hence video

Unfortunately the knock off market is huge, NOT even saying this helmet is a knock off, I have not seen it, BUT this name brand helmet does have good helmets, and my AGV pista gprr although stupid expensive, is a very high end helmet and it is made in china, I guess what I am getting at, cause I dont want anyone getting confused here, is JUNK, CHEAP shit stuff can be made in any country!! Made in America doesnt mean it isnt JUNK, made in China doesnt mean its JUNK!! I should also state, that I believe we should make stuff in our own countries!! WTF our governments dont invest in our own countries is beyond me... The moral of my to long of a reply is, I have bought plenty of junk from china, BUT I have also bought plenty of very good stuff too!!!

I've had my LS2 for almost 10k miles. Worn every day , my only helmet and my only mode of transportation so it's worn ALOT and I live in Vegas so it gets HOT enough to burn if you touch it at noon. Crashed 2 times HARD (had surgery one of the times for broken ribs and arm ) and mine is just missing the back vent plastic from the fall... But that's IT. I THINK they are quality, I got mine in 2022 tho

After ONE impact (nevermind two) bad enough to send you to the operating room, that helmet has to go. No matter what it looks like on the outside, helmets are designed to absorb ONE hit, no more. After that the impact absorbing ability is seriously compromised... that lid is not providing you much protection anymore.

I had bought a different helmet on Amazon at the beginning of this summer for my big headed daughter to wear while bicycling and scootering. kzbin.infoUgkx0ipcYkXV-2YCp_cBN3HLfzR_OoD0HQYx Well it was WAY too big and not adjustable at all. Previously we had really expensive but adjustable helmets from the local bike store and I didn't really want to pay $50 again for another helmet. I searched and was fairly sure from the reviews that this helmet was what I was looking for- and it was! The pads inside are comfortable, the rim in front provides a bit of shade, but most of all for me there is the dial adjuster in the back which allows for a really secure fit on my daughters head. It seems like it will fit for a few years too which makes me even happier! She loves the pattern and I might end up buying another one for her twin sister (who has a much smaller head!)I definitely recommend this helmet. My daughter is 5 but has a big head. Her twin sister could fit in this one as well but it's a bit big.

Not a LS2 fan, just have two Arrow Carbon. These are the only helmets that fit to my head. I think the assembly quality is not the best. But, one of my two helmets saved my life the other day when i crashed my S1000XR in a serious turn. It took three bad shocks, i felt it for real in my head. But, you know, finally just a few scratches on an arm, and my head is still round. For me, these helmets were nothing like a mistake.

I'm not an LS2 fan at all. This video does not surprise me at all. Over the last few years I have been their biggest critic. Cheap, dishonest, unethical Chinese crap undercutting and flooding the market. The problem for LS2 was that this wasn't working in the west. We are happy with the current popular choices such as Shoei, AGV, HJC, Arai and so on. I will give LS2 credit, over the last couple of years, the gap between their helmets and other brands like HJC and AGV and dare I say Shoei has been shrinking. Helmets such as the Thunder Carbon FF805 and the FF805 FIM 22.06 are massive leaps in the helmet scene. Sure, it's a CCP subsidized company that steals their R&D from everyone else, but in recent times their helmets have been quite good. I sell motorbike gear and over the last 24 months, I've gone from actively avoiding LS2 when dealing with customers to feeling comfortable and at relative ease in recommending them. I'd rather an FF805 than my old AGV K5S or most Shark helmets (LS2 used to make Sharks helmets back in the day).
