My cousin started making her plans awhile ago….she sold her house and belongings and moved to Ghana January 2024 and became a citizen in December….of course, she wants all of us to move there to….I’m gonna take the next 2 yrs as my planning to make changes whether it’s Ghana, somewhere else or still here in the U.S….but I know that I’m feeling the itch for change now.

I’m 55 with 34 yrs in federal government….we all know what the incoming administration want to do to us, so stress is there 24/7….we returned to the office 1 day a week and we’re being threatened with eliminating telework…..we haven’t done OT since October and will probably not get it back (and it’s a hit for sure)….things have changed and will continue to change for the worse I’m sure….I’M READY TO GO!!!!!

I was laid off in October (of 2024) and I seriously just can’t get motivated to fill out more applications! For my last job, and this is not inflated in any way, I was offered a job on my 200th application!!!! I have been a Registered Nurse for 19 1/2 years but don’t work in the hospitals anymore. I have worked from home for approximately 10 years now and, since COVID, that is what everyone wants to do now so there are 1000’s of applicants for each job. I am not old enough, or rich enough, to retire but I will say ageism is a REAL and extremely frustrating problem to have to deal with for those, especially women, over the age of 45 which includes me. I so wish I was in your position where you have a pension and can count of that and then fill up your time just doing what you want to do….sounds like a dream to me!! Thank you for this video and have an awesome time doing whatever you want!! Also, I will be following along bc I just subscribed to your channel!! 😊
