Hi Jim, thanks for your video, I have suffered with Meniere's. Having read a book with advice I started taking Tumeric with black pepper, I have not had a problem for over two years now. I beleive it does not work with everyone, I hope maybe this might help some sufferers, Cheers.

I would purchase American barbell hex they use virgin rubber so the dumbbells don’t smell really bad because all the other brands use recycled rubber with hex also American barbell offer a more accurate weight only-10g +10g so u get a more accurate dumbbell

I drilled out the Ball Stop (Golf Ball) hole a little bigger so the crimped ferrule can slip into the hole, then behind the Ball Stop is a small rubber stop and or the stop that came with the ferrule - so the Ball doesn't always fall back. - - - It looks more professional and gives you that extra inch" - some of us need more than others. I see in the comments that you are using 3/16" ID, and 1/4" OD including the plastic vinyl coating, wow, I thing that's overkill imo. I'm using Home Depot 1/8" ID Stainless Steel Cable Rope plus blue vinyl coating = 3/16" OD. The working load = 340lbs, breaking load = 1,400lbs - with Home Depot 18" Swaging Tool and Aluminum Ferrules.

because the fat pad is such a wide profile and rated for so much weight on this Bench I would have gotten a strip of junk metal cleaned it up to get rid of rust and tagged it with some black spray paint and drilled it to size for the pad to rest on and disperse the weight and then just mount it directly into the Frame after drilling a hole through the frame. making it a Real Beast.

I asked my doc to prescribe Valacyclovir after seeing your video. She got the dossage wrong, but I got corrected later, 3 grams per day. It suppresses the virus in cochlea I suspect, which I think is herpes zoster from failed Merck Zostavax vaccine I received at Walmart pharmacy in 2016. They didn't warn me that CDC and NIH had already sounded alarm bells over Zostavax. 90 people died, over 1000 got shingles, and hundreds more got infections in eyes, brain, and cochlea which exhibited as Meniere's. I got all three. I am at risk for suicide still, ENT's have been worse than useless, apparently knowing nothing nor how to diagnose anything. To see a doc said to specialize in Meniere's in Iowa City Sep 11, 2024. If this condition is not cured, I will suicide; and I am perfectly sane; it's not a psychological thing. Trying to get Merck to provide DNA profile of their live herpes zoster virus, to match with virus I hope will be extracted from my cochlea. Agency in the medical as well as legal ambits is holding up any judicial disposition and compensation that should be paid by Merck pharmaceutical. Zostavax is banned in the US, but Merck continues to push in foreign countries. I wonder if the virus mutated to become the monkey pox virus outbreak?

I have been suffering from this and had vertigo that lasted 6 months in the first episode. Afterwards, one of my ears became slightly blocked. Annoying but it didn’t affect my daily life. Fast forward 2 years, I am hit by vertigo again. It became worse whereby I felt there was a brick behind my head and I felt I was constantly falling backwards while walking. I knew western medicine couldn’t help me, I have seen 5 ENT specialists in the first episode and they said I was completely normal and there is nothing they can do. I turned to chinese medicine and luckily I found a practitioner that works wonders!!! I am so glad it worked because at the worst state, my hearing was blocked 90% on my right ear after a flight and I sincerely thought my life was over!!! To anyone reading this, Meniere is curable!!!!!! THERE IS LIGHT, THERE IS HOPE, YOUR LIFE IS NOT OVER.

I have had menieres all my life, and now I'm sick and tired of it! It is debilitating and just interferes with my whole life. When I'm having an attack, I can't do anything. The attacks come on suddenly and without warning and are most of the time very, very strong. I have over the years developed strategies for coping but I'm not now looking to cope, I want to find a cure. The internet has helped tremendously. Over the years, I have had doctors tell me I'm faking, they've told me there is no such disease, I'm crazy. Thank God, medicine has finally acknowledged its existence, and that there are others out there who are going through the same awful thing

I’ve had MD for two years also with sudden deafness in my left ear. I have since found that my biggest vertigo trigger is canola oil, which is extracted using hexane. Hexane is a nasty chemical that remains in the oil. It is also used to make shoe glue and as a workshop solvent and is known to cause vertigo. If you have MD avoid it!

I don’t know what normal is anymore but whoever said if drs figure out what cures anything, they’d be bankrupt. I think drs are just practicing physicians. Aren’t we all? Just practicing and looking for any solutions to actually help? Our healthcare system makes me scream! We need The good doctor! Remember that tv show? I believe I have cochlear hydrops for now. Hoping it doesn’t turn to full blown MD. Although I’ve been diagnosed with MD. I take a strong diuretic and I hate it. It only takes the edge off the ear fullness a little. Going to a TMJ specialist today to see if it’s jaw related. I’m gonna order these antivirals bc I am so miserable. Inner ear fluid for months. Low hearing not the best. Ugh. I feel for all who have this. My entire life has changed.

looked up JOH another ridiculous amount of supplements which frankly I would never consider and I have been on that train for many years. U said antivirals were key for you and I had come to conclusion best approach for me with my medical history and background but curiously not suggested by any doctor i saw at langone or follow up neurology or ENT. My antiageing doc said he suspected this as source and was also perplexed at their not being used in view of my description thank you

I really think that's part of it. There is still a lot of guessing as to the causes of Meniere's disease. However, there's some evidence that it's an autoimmune disorder. So, anything that deals with your immune or autoimmune system may be responsible. However, I'm also pretty sure that contracting actual covid would have done the same thing or worse.

This disease is supposed to be rare. It sure doesn’t seem like it to me. I’m just so disappointed in my life and the quality of it. I’m sure y’all can relate. What to do. I’ll try anything. So I started saying affirmations. I am stable and well. I am balanced. I am safe. I dove into the spiritual side of things and I think you’ll find more answers there than in the medical field. I also haven’t had a vaccine in over 30 yrs because I was in the healthcare field in the navy and I saw repercussions of them all around me. I would also like to say that I had labrynthitis when I was younger a few times. There’s gotta be a correlation

I talked to an ENT at Toyonaka city hospital in Osaka Japan He ran tests and informed me it wasn't meneres. He said that due to my age it's possible to have dizzy spells. He gave me a list of exercises and wished me well. I think he missed diagnosed me. I see my family doctor next week and will ask him for the antivirals and see if my constant dizziness goes away. I have bilateral Ménière’s, was basically vertigo free because my ENT placed shunts in my ears early on. Now 36-years later started having daily vertigo attacks again. I live too far to go to my original ent, so going to another one today. Hopefully, this can be rectified. It does decrease your ability to live life like you should be able to. I also read somewhere that herpes in the ear like shingles can be a factor.

My mother has menieres disease and was diagnosed back in 1997 (17 years ago). The vertigo attacks have gone quite some time back but the problems with hearing loss, built up pressure in the ear causing fullness, uneasiness in loud environments along with inability for sound reception when someone is sitting on the affected ear side, are the bottlenecks. Does anyone know how can this be tackled? Since I am worried that with time it might exacerbate her hearing problems
