How is it for sleeping level and not like a regular hammock which is banana shaped. A Henesy hammock is asymmetrical so you sleep flat at an angle.

Great video review !! I got my Hawk Nest about a month ago and some other winter additions, one of my biggest question marks is how well an underquilt will fit given those outer poles connecting to the gromets. Would you feel as thought the underquilt would still be able to be synched snug to the underside of the hammock ? Can't wait to test it out in PEI this winter

I have ordered 4 products from these guys. NONE have been delivered. They do not answer their telephone. They do not respond to their on-line Chat option except to say they will get back to me “soon”, they do not define “soon” but it is definitely longer than 24 hours. They have ignored my e-mail requests for help. However, every day I am inundated with requests to buy more products. I will not purchase from them again and cannot recommend that anyone else buy from them.

Terrible review. He has a propane heater flaring by the camera so the sound sucks. I’m not saying he’s not an active reserve soldier….but the bear skin can’t hide his beer belly. I’m not trying to be mean, but the review was obviously payed for. A mate at work bought one of these and it’s lightweight garbage. One of the zippers already broke. I don’t know maybe it was a bad zipper. Thing is lightweight and is only windproof if you spend another crazy amount of money for another rain liner. Friends do not trust anything on infomercials. It’s all Chinese made garbage.

Great video review. I'm waiting on delivery on the Hoodie which I purchased for my brother who is planning a trip to Montana. Is it flammable? Worry about sparks from a campfire.

Thank you! As for the flammability, as with everyting it will go on fire if you make it hah, but I cant see it going on fire from sparks, it would probably just leave a hole.

Steve, what by chance is your ht/wt? And what size did you purchase? I've read that the hoodie runs a tad big. And reviews on returns on horrible so I would like to get this right the first time. I'm about 46 in across the chest so I'm in between. Thanks again

So I bought the XL and it is slightly big, only slightly though and I’m same as you 46”. I did wash it then throw it in the dryer for 10 minutes, sorted it out, fits good now.

I was camping high in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado one fall. While making breakfast, I hear the sound of a high caliber rifle being fired somewhere down the valley. For safeties sake, I fire a shotgun a few times into the hillside to let everyone know someone was around, and to reduce the chances of there being anything worth hunting anywhere near my campsite. I have no problems with hunting, but I do have problems with getting shot.

There is no way to reach customer service through any methods they suggest. By phone I have called 15 times. I get placed on hold listening to this godawful jazz music. and after a lengthy hold the call is disconnected. I have sent three messages through the website- no response and attempted to use their 24 /7 chat window at least four times, I paid for a rain jacket using my credit card and I am also being charged by KLARNA in 4 installments for which one payment has been made. THE PRODUCTS ARE GREAT BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT

Currently wearing mine while watching this...i wear it under my freezer suit (-20°) barley feel anything. I always thought it was a gimmick at first but my mom got it for me and i lvoe it.

Looks like a nice setup! Id be curious as to how well the sleeping mat would stay positioned on the underside like that, wondering if it would want to bunch up or move off to the side overnight

@@isaiahshaffer yeah I think the very short time I spent in it with the Matt tucked into the pocket, it didn’t really go anywhere to be honest. As long as it’s where you want it when you get in you should be good.

Be very careful ordering from Bearskin I was double charged and got zero satisfaction from Baerskin I was charged in USD funds when I was assured I would be paying in CAD funds for each order I made I was charged twice once by Baerskin Tactical and the same order was charged by order net status same number as Baerskin. I cancelled both orders but were not refunded the charges emailing the company got me nowhere after of hours waiting on the phone paying long distance charges I was finally told to take it up with my own bank like my band fraudulently charged my card really !!!!! Confirmed the orders where cancelled but still charged so no product but I have to pay twice for each order. I was charged in USD for each order by Baerskin Tactical and by order status net so for two orders total I was charged four times and long distance charges. I'm so disappointed with this company and also disappointed that a Canadian is peddling their products.
