Iv done the same too, i also use Brock's performance green springs on her too as to run dyno runs, after dyno i just slip back in the upgrade springs. Iv also watch your oil pump upgrade too, i did mine as well but didn't change the sprocket, just pump bracket only. I found it was to hard for me to get old oil sprocket off so i just keeped the oil gear. I had her for 10 years, unfortunately i had a accident and ridden her off over year half ago. Over the last 6 months iv ridden many different roadys but i could find anything like my old zx14r, so i bought a new one and in the process doing upgrades for from Brock's performance. Once all together, dyno hit and mapped out how i like her, O im putting on a quick shifter as will. Zx14r are hands down for me as hitting myself in my 50s, still like doing turn ons and hitting windy roads here. Enjoy

Hello, I have a 2021 Kawasaki zx14r, I would like to do exactly what you did to your Kawasaki, could you send me a link, what parts did you buy for your Kawasaki? and I have one more question - I replaced full exhaust Yoshimura R77 did you put copper washers under the elbows? I did not use copper washers as Yoshimura recommended and I have a slight leak from the elbow on the first and fourth cylinders, the leak is subtle and rust-colored Please lmk Thanks

I’m not buying this whole oil pump mod thing, reason is my dad & i since 2006 have had combined 9 different ZX-14’s & not one suffered any sort of oil psi or bearing issue, combine that with a good friend that has 2 ZX-14R’s that are used for his iron butt association competitions, he has put tremendous miles on each of those bikes & due to the nature of his rides go 10+ thousand mile oil change intervals

I had an accident on my zx14 & not heavy damage, scraping & scratch on left side ,oil pressure sensor was somehow ripped out (black rubber green wire found beneath bike) i got new sensor reattached wire. Bile stuck in neutral now. .. i cant see how & why this happened

I hope I saved my motor on my new 2023 ZX14R, that I just picked up, because a month ago I lost my 2012 ZX14R(#3 rod bearing w/ 36K miles) even though I kept the maintenance up on it and the oil filled to the top of the sight glass. I immediately ordered the oil pump cover the day I took ownership of the 2023 14R, and once it arrived I installed it. Hopefully I'm covered this time around. Kudos for this video because it definitely helped me install the oil cover cover myself, when I would've sent it to the shop to be performed. Money saved and I learned something new...a win win in my book!

I really want to add this Pitbull mount to my Kendon. I have the exact same kendon. My only concern is....If I want to carry a different motorcycle with the same system, I'm guessing it won't work if the front - to - rear axle length is shorter/longer. Is this correct? I'd hate to think that once the holes are drilled and the plate is bolted in place, it's only compatible with one specifically dimensioned bike.

remember to use JIS screwdrivers to locktite the 3 screws behind the clutch basket as they can easily chew out if you're a clutz with hand tools

I'm not too fond of all those ramp sections. I would just use the center one. Your side stand is crushing that thin metal plate. Would have to do something to spread out that load.

my 06 zx14 has a ape pump cover upgrade,,,i do not race the bike,,but do like hi-speed runs on occasion,,seller says he uses motul 7100,,bike has 13l miles,,,my dealer says they rarely see any zx14's or concorse come in with issues,i do keep the level to top of fill line,,,does my bike need a new oil pump????? i would never attemp myself,,,

Never used a Canyon Dancer and never will. They are terrible for the throttle and clipons. Your setup is probably the safest / least motorcycle stress you can get.. Add a 2" strap on the front wheel chock and call it done.

Those rear bolts that are not through the diamond plate(?) floor, how secure are they?

ATTENTION everyone:Please check bearing retainer screws because the factory may not have loctite them they are behind your clutch. Three screws around input shaft also check screw behind shift drum. This should be a RECALL but, KAWASAKI is ignoring it I have found others who have had loose bearing retainer screws on the ZX14R. I'm in Canada by the way. If these screws are loose your gearbox is toast. Please check those screws it may save your life. This is a CLASS ACTION SUIT in the making. Please watch ZX14 transmission fix part 1. go to 9 minutes and then watch. KAWASAKI has ignored this for years. Please contact me here for info.

tie down from the individual fork tubes (above a collar) is exceedingly better than anything to do with the handlebar - ask a motorcycle suspension pro if need be (computrack, etc) Good set up there!
