The top thread on THE MIRROR now wraps only half a turn around the winder because our current thread tensioner has a higher tension than previous models. Wrapping one and a half turns would increase the tension further, so we’ve adjusted it to a half turn.🥰

you can pull thread to feel or test a H pattern to see but you just replace the thread not re-threading path, so tension won't change normally

Thank you for your response; I appreciate your attention to detail. For THE MIRROR, our engineers recommend following the steps in the video and wrapping the thread halfway around. This is the latest approach.

Well thats a reason but not always the only reason. It can also be that the picker is not adjusted properly. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any good explanations on how to properly adjust the picker for any machine.
