Into the Spiderverse animation: Alpha Tier Arcane animation: God Tier

There is no going back from this level of excellence and this approach of seemlessly blending 2D, painting and 3D animation. Bravo.

2 of the greatest games of the last 15-20 years. From the art direction, the animation, the story, basically every aspect of the game feels expertly hand crafted and executed with the greatest attention to detail to achieve the highest quality level in the industry. The second game was criminally robbed the game of the year awards. Elden ring is a game with amazing combat and exploration but as a complete product it’s just not as grandiose and astounding in every aspect of the game compared to GOWR. I love Elden ring and it’s one of my favorites of all time but GOWR was head and shoulders above in all but combat and world exploration.

@ithurtsbecauseitstrue2 күн бұрын
@@spag8157 too ignorant to follow or respond? Disney's animation has dropped off. Their stories have been awful. And Moana has always sucked... because woke college students got all of the actual talent fired, or chased them away. are you lyao at yourself for being too stupid to understand: "Disney has sucked for a long time now." people are wetarded these days.

Bro what made you to type this?? Moana 1 was epic and the second part is even more better than the previous one
@ithurtsbecauseitstrue2 күн бұрын
@@Abbu724 Moana was some of the worst storytelling in movie history. There were so many unrelated irrelevant scenes. And the story points were way to transparent. They artificially forced a spat and had him run from her right before the end, just to have him come back when she needed him. It felt so fake and unmotivated. Movie sucked. I get some people just shout what they LIKE, and not discuss its quality or attributes. But the movie sucked and it's not cause I liked it or didn't like it. It sucked on a story and filmmaking level.

Software is merely a tool. The focus here is on the skill and creativity of the artists, where the specific software becomes irrelevant. Companies like Autodesk are driven by profit, not by a commitment to artists or their craft. When discussing skill in this context, it’s essential to center the conversation on the artists themselves and their work, rather than the tools they use.

I feel like ever since Into the Spider-Verse came out in 2018 every studio has upped their game and is exploring mixing 2D and 3D animation in highly stylized looks. Arcane and Entergalactic are my some of my favorite stylized animations out there and they remind me of ITSV. Every frame is worthy of a wallpaper.

In VLTBC, Venom's head was scaled up from the first movie as the artists felt it was a bit out of proportion from the rest of his body. Spencer Cook who worked on both SM3 and the Venom films spoke on how their team for LTBC took comic book illustrations approved by the filmmakers. Poses that they could include in their animation. Before being fully animated, they would create 3D character renderings in those stylized comic book poses to see if it would translate well on screen. A few of them would get lit and it was apart of a studio presentation and would give everyone an idea of the final theatrical look. Also fun note, Carnage in the comics is naturally colored red. Sony thought if they went with a classic look of an all red Carnage, it would look like a flayed man, which is not what they wanted for a PG-13 movie. Very similar to Sony saying no to the Spider-Man 3 unusued Symbiote latex looking black costume. Also, glad to had found that SM3 symbiote footage you're using with Effects Supervisor Peter Nofz discussing the early symbiote tests.
