Next time with a comparison video, record the first half with the $30 mic. Then record the second half of the viseo with the $70. As was, 15 seconds was devoted to sound quality in a 12 minute video. Id still go with the Röde mic.

The range is one of the deal breakers that made me send these back. I tried all different usb ports and configurations and the range was terrible. Strangely with my SE’s I can walk to the bottom of the garden and still have a perfect connection. With the XT’s I can’t get passed the door to the garden. Also, comfort was a big issue….

Some other wireless device could be interfering but I don't know actually.

The Zoom zdm-1 dynamic microphone works great on amateur radio, I use one on my Icom 7300 HF rig and get super good audio reports !

how is it with a phone sound quality wise

wireless range and quality, and also battery draining too fast are the main failures of this headset. They also are not so comfortable. I had Steelseries arctis 7 before and i somewhat miss em. they were better, incredible range, good battery, and soooooo comfortable

transitions are too loud

You can also hear the noise floor pretty easily in the test. save yourself some post headache and get the rode lavalier go, it sounds significantly better and only costs $40 more. I've used them professionally and have only noticed the brittleness of the cable. Obviously they aren't Sanken COS11D but they are good enough to get started. especially paired with the Rode Wireless Go II if you're a beginner. Again, used those professionally on set for over a year and cannot praise those enough. Also I'm not a huge fan of the way you tested these, you wouldn't practically use them holding up to your mouth. Put them in a situation like they would be used.

I think the issue you have with the range is the fact you put the dongle on the back of your pc, all the metal in the way interferes with the radio antennae, you need to plug the dongle on the front of the pc in order to avoid as much interference, I have even once needed to plug a usb extension cable and have a dongle on the end of it, far away from the pc so all the wireless antennas don’t have to work as hard to keep connection.

Have you tested the 60m claim on bluetooth? It may be based on bluetooth and not from the dongle.

I got my PS5 at my local best buy after camping all night on Wednesday night on 09/22/21 I arrived at 10:40 PM and waited all night into the morning until 7:30 AM, when they passed out tickets on 09/23/21 8:30 AM i walked out with my Disc version PS5. For me, camping all night with strangers, talking about the type of games we will play on the console ( making new friends to play with ) is part of the experience of camping for a video game console every couple years. People waiting in line, make an event out of it and even thought some people are more extreme than others ( there was a group of about 15 or more people that were smoking weed and drinking alcohol further up the front of the line. ) But the night went smooth without incident and there was no drama or fighting. Even though the drunk and high group of people had people they knew come at several points during the night and cut the line, everyone was fairly calm, being the rumored number of PS5 consoles were pretty high. 50 disc, 50 digital and 50 xbox series x. I didn't even open my PS5 box , since i got it! I'm waiting to buy a 4K HDTV on black Friday, so i can harness the power of my PS5 & most likely xbox series x, to their full potential. I'm in no rush to play my PS5, being i only have a 30" samsung 1080p HDTV i purchased from 2008 at CIRCUIT CITY! that's right, you read that right! That's how long i've had this TV! I'm surprised it worked this long! Samsung did send out a technician to replace a faulty capacitor that kept the tv from turning on from time to time. But ever since that service call, it's been working and that was back in 2013! You should invest or at least save up for a 4K HDTV so you can unlock your PS5's full potential. older HDTV's won't do the current generation of consoles justice. I just picked up an xbox series x today at a Fedex drop off at my local walgreens! I won a bid for $651.00 with tax and shipping, came to $704.43 So I'm set for the current generation of video game consoles for years to come! I will buy cross platform games for the xbox series x and buy exclusives for my PS5 But not before saving up for a 4K HDTV for this upcoming black Friday for both of them! Do you have a 4k 120 fps compatible HDTV for your xbox series x? if not, when do you plan on buying one? if you do have one, which one do you have and how much did you pay for it?
