I think the issue you have with the range is the fact you put the dongle on the back of your pc, all the metal in the way interferes with the radio antennae, you need to plug the dongle on the front of the pc in order to avoid as much interference, I have even once needed to plug a usb extension cable and have a dongle on the end of it, far away from the pc so all the wireless antennas don’t have to work as hard to keep connection.

Stumbled across this comment. Ive had these headphones for a week now battling connectivity issues and audio stuttering, ended up trying a long usb extender to try and see if it helps. thank you

The range is one of the deal breakers that made me send these back. I tried all different usb ports and configurations and the range was terrible. Strangely with my SE’s I can walk to the bottom of the garden and still have a perfect connection. With the XT’s I can’t get passed the door to the garden. Also, comfort was a big issue….

Yeah at this point I just learned to live with the fact that the connection and range is terrible.

@@JDLTECH I’m currently wearing a set of nova pro wireless and the sound quality and sound stage is noticeably worse than my Virtuoso SE/XT but comfort is so much better with the nova. So it’s a difficult choice. I’ve seen headband mods and oval earcup converters for the SE/XT. Do I mod the SE/XT or stick with the bank breaking Nova Pros? At this price point you would think you could get a headset that has great comfort and sound!

Have you tested the 60m claim on bluetooth? It may be based on bluetooth and not from the dongle.

the 60ft (18.2m) is for the dongle (because of the slipstream technologie wich is built within)

wireless range and quality, and also battery draining too fast are the main failures of this headset. They also are not so comfortable. I had Steelseries arctis 7 before and i somewhat miss em. they were better, incredible range, good battery, and soooooo comfortable
