I appriciate and respect the effort put into this but why would anyone want this? I would understand it before the parkour update but rigth now Dying light 2's parkour is better than mirrors edges parkour in pretty much every aspect. Once again I don't mean to disrespect and I hope I could tell what I want to say.

No offence taken! I completely get it, and I fully agree. Mirror's Edge is an old game, but it inspired me because of how grounded it was. The changes I made are all very small, but they add a bit more impact and enjoyment to the parkour; at least for me anyway lol. I don't make these mods for other people, I make them for fun and just like sharing them. :)

I think so too! I just do it for fun and will always stick by that. This game has so many different parameters to play with and I love trying new things out.:)

There are, but only a few. The mod is mainly about game feel, something you can't really see.

why would you care about that? the only major animations that are switched are the monkey bar jumps and obstacle double jump, since the originals lacked a fitting impactful feeling. this mod is always my go-to when i feel like playing with mods, it's good. though gotta admit, it needs some adjustments, sometimes the parkour feels a bit off - especially wallrun jump, and enemy jumps are too low, regular jumping height is only reserved on fat zombies

@KostolomKenshi appreciate the support and feedback! Are you saying that the enemy jump height is only working properly on the bigger biters? Either way it's strange and I've been wanting to solve it, had no idea what was causing the defect though lol.

I ve seen the mod Harran Unleashed on Nexus and searched for some video material for it, glad I found this vid, it was pretty chill and nice to watch. This mod paired with one more, Advanced Moves I think was the name is pretty much all you need to enjoy this oldie game... Im glad some of the more ridiculous or silly vanilla lackluster features of the first game found a fix in modding cuz from what I ve heard and seen the sequel is a disapointment, in many the devs have betrayed their own legacy with questionable and overly casual gameplay choices ... Hey, glad you enjoyed the video! DL1 holds up very well even nowadays. Mods like Harran Unleashed really brought out the best of it too. DL2 is far from being at the same level as DL1 but I can confidently say that Techland are finally moving the sequel in the right direction. The potential of DL2 is crazy, they just need to keep working on it and I believe it can become something amazing.

Techland are planning to make many changes to the game this year! I know that they are also working on bringing mod support to console so maybe in the future console players will be able to use mods like this one and more!

I'm afraid that Aiden's speed has to compensate for the stronger gravity and lack of float. Unfortunately if he were slower then he wouldn't be able to jump a lot of essential gaps. You are more than welcome to change it yourself and if you need any help don't hesitate to ask!

@@speedzacharias9360 I've heard that Cloud 3 is a pretty decent place..might be lacking in flying rainbow unicorns and marshmallow bumblebees, but it still has charm! Oh dude I hope it's soon...this bugs are the reason why I'm avoiding the main story atm lol

@@Spirit-Fire Cloud 3 isn't too bad, you're right it does lack those two attractions. So for what it lacks it more than makes up for with an infestation of flying monkeys, and if they aren't trying to hump your leg you best believe they are a trying to shove a home made "cupcake" in your face that smells surprisingly like Sh- So yeah... Charming. I think it's funny you use the word "avoiding" but from what you said even if you tried you really couldn't because you would end up having no clue what actually going on around you. That's basically blue screen of death dude! 😂
