Wow!!! Beast on that choke!!! Anyone know the name of that choke? Like a loop choke but grabbing the knee.
@aaronlapoi6 жыл бұрын
In judo it is often called koshi-jime and in BJJ it is generally called clock choke, at least in the U.S.

aaronlapoi ok that's what I thought! BJJ on US as you can probably tell! Haha! Anyways... Love the added knee crank to really turn it on!!

Also, I keep the far side leg off the ground in both techniques and close to my partner's hip so he can't easily hop over that foot and pass my guard to his left. It may not look like I'm doing much with that foot, but it's preventing him from passing my guard.
@aaronlapoi12 жыл бұрын
I should have shown another angle on the second technique so you can see I'm grabbing my partner's lapel and then pulling it under his armpit. Once you have this grip, fall back and move your hips out to the side, your partner won't be able to turn into you because that would require him to lift all of your weight off the ground. Furthermore, when you put the top hook in you use it to help pull your partner to his back. Easy way to take the back once you get that lapel and move your hips out.

@ EamonD129. I'm the one competing with one arm. I grew up using one arm so I've had time to adapt.
