how can i change this to the xy plane?

There are a few issues with this video, and I hope my suggestions will help. Create the surface in Rhino in the ZX coordinates, i.e., the front view in Rhino. It seems like the author is using different units, not millimeters, but I'm not entirely sure. At 1:11 in the video, there’s a cut, and an important step is missing. The points from the "Divide Surface" component should not go directly into the "Move" geometry. Instead, they need to pass through the "Flatten Tree" component. Later, there’s also a "Relay" component that appears, which I copied from the provided file. This component is placed between "Divide Surface" and "Move." I’m not an advanced Grasshopper user, so I didn’t know that you need to hold Shift to add both Graft Trees to the Loft component. This happens at 3:42 in the video.

Hi I had a problem at 0:29 when I add the move it pushes it upwards

El archivo que esta colgado en el link funciona muy bien, solo hay que ser cuidadosos en escoger el plano donde construimos la superficie inicial que debe ser el XZ, luego observar que en el icono de creación de rango o dominio colocar con click derecho una expressión de x-1 para igualar el numero de datos y al momento de crear la superficie en el ucount incluir una expresión de x+1. Lógicamente que esto no es una receta de arroz con leche, tienen que analizar las entradas y las salidas para entender lo que esta ocurriendo en el proceso.

the tutorial is useless or incomplete, it happens that all the points go to one end and when creating the surface the computer freezes because of the number of points that went to one end.

Say I wanted to build this parametric design by manually cutting these shapes made out of wood (which I would bc I don't own a CNC), how would I go about creating the dimensions for each piece or element? Does this make sense?
