Why was the line from the original song replaced? This is how history changes. If you change the words for the sake of Russophobia hype, the next step will be what this song was written against

The contrast between the lyrics... "I walked up on the mountain in the middle of the sky"... as the men arrive as POWs in Poland was soo powerful and poignant, it really shook me in a way i never expected it too. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear. I really hope we never allow ourselves to forget what that generation gave for us to live freely in Europe and beyond. Thankyou to them all! And thank-you for the hauntingly beautiful rendition. You really did do this song justice.

This is Jeff Crosby -- I am the son of Harry in MOTA. When I heard your song I thought I recognized it and looked it up right away -- great job! I hope to ask the writers why they chose that particular song and 2nd Front leftist party for Harry and Landra to drop in on. Not to mention the gift of Native Son from Landra when they split. He describes her in his memoir, she was real like the other characters. Wonderful voice and version of a great song -- thank you.
