The contrast between the lyrics... "I walked up on the mountain in the middle of the sky"... as the men arrive as POWs in Poland was soo powerful and poignant, it really shook me in a way i never expected it too. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear. I really hope we never allow ourselves to forget what that generation gave for us to live freely in Europe and beyond. Thankyou to them all! And thank-you for the hauntingly beautiful rendition. You really did do this song justice.

Thank you so much! I released an acoustic version recently of the song as well as my own cover, so I don't think I'll release another version of this song soon. I am releasing another original song at the beginning of May that I'm very excited about though :D And then an acoustic EP later in the summer. Thank you so so much for listening to my music :) It means absolutely everything to me as an independent artist!
