I believe those blades are around 150’ long, 300’ diameter with the towers being around 300’ tall. Btw, I was hoping to get to meet you at Fly the Fort but it wasn’t in the cards.

Hey, got me a Zipper 3 months ago and the doc says I can’t fly for 3 more. How long did it take you. Can’t remember.

@pittsjohn57 well I didn't ask my doctor, maybe not the smartest move ... but I was wheel launching a few months after and foot launching after my breast bone was healed enough to carry the weight. I think I pushed it a bit early but luckily it all worked out ok. Sorry to hear about your Zipper but am glad your ok now. My advice don't push it... heal up then send it .... ;)

@@BartBerry August of 2018. I don't remember if there was snow or not - probably not. My favorite part was looking for down the cliff the train was on & seeing train cars lying upside down in the canyon below. 😳 But the whole trip was exceptional.

Sailing on this cruise ship on September 10, 2024. Thanks for the great tour and information! Thanks for showing us the hidden gems and less crowded areas. I'm a bit nervous! I haven't cruised since the early 90's and had a terrible experience on a Carnival Western Caribbean cruise. It was spring break and it was packed with drunks. The ports were awful (Venezuela, Guadeloupe, Grenada), the only nice one was Aruba. I'm hoping for a better experience on this ship. Sorry for the long ramble!

Enjoyed your video. Just came back from a 2-day Bourbon Trail trip. 5 distilleries and my favorite, by far, was Bardstown Bourbon Co. We did the Rickhouse Barrel Thief tour, then spent time at the bar, trying a flight of their various blends. My favorite was the AMRUT Collab, which, unfortunately, is not available in greater Indianapolis. I definitely should have bought it while I was there!

Nice! How was the crowd? A lot of times I find Carnival is the Dollar Tree of the Seas. We are going to do an Alaska Cruise next year, trying to pick between Carnival and Disney.

We had a wonderful time , didn't seem overly crowded. Alaska was beautiful I think you will enjoy the scenery no matter what cruise line you choose. Have a great trip next year

Length of the cruise is more of a factor. 3 night cruises have the worst passengers. Longer cruises have more chill people. If Disney is an option I'm guessing you're bringing kids. Kids will have more fun on Disney. If no kids, I don't know why you'd subject yourself to Disney.

What a beautiful cruise and a beautiful ship! I was blessed with the opportunity to go on a Carnival cruise last year on the Legend and we sailed out of Baltimore. I got some pretty good footage and pictures of the trip. We even sailed under the Francis Scott Key Bridge twice. I never thought for q second that 6 months later that bridge would be gone. The Spirit ship you sailed on look a whole lot like the Legend. Thanks for sharing your trip with us all and I'm glad to see y'all had a great time brother.
