How steady is the ID number? I watched a utube channel where he said it jumps around 5-20 digits?

@@alleyoop5185 thanks for watching. There are many reasons the ID will jump. The target’s composition can be a reason. If there’s differing metals the ID will jump. The soil content can make the ID jump. High mineral content like a salty beach will affect the ID as well. Multiple targets like a coin spill will cause the numbers to jump. I get excited when I have a steady ID. You’ll become familiar with coin ID numbers. Lol I hope this helped. GL&HH! Jay

This was great tutorial. I'm so new my x-terra-pro is still in the mail on its way to me. My Scoopal is here and I have a pinpointer coming also. Watching your hunt, you are smooth methodical and no wasted effort. Most of the finds you didn't even have to bend down for! It is exactly how I need to do it. Thanks for the lesson! @@practicalman45 thanks for watching. Don’t get frustrated at your machine or targets. You’ll gain more knowledge and experience the longer you detect. You’ll learn which targets are trash before you dig them (I dig every target) most of the time. You’ll find that gold rings are in the same range as pull tabs and foil. There’s no set code/number for gold or silver. The number displayed can be affected by size, metal composition, and depth of the target.

@@averysidilau1455 the X-Terra Pro isn’t intuitive. I had to read the manual to figure out how to change settings. Does yours pinpoint off center slightly to the right? I don’t even use the pinpoint mode because mine seems off, even when manually pinpointing. GL&HH! Jay

The markings are normally located on the clasps on bracelets and necklaces. Lol

I felt like I was tanned leather after detecting the soft, deep sands at Pensacola. It’s rough on the calves and hips. I only get exhausted there. It’s nice breaking the precious metal slump with some confusing stamped gold. I’ve never seen a 750 before. 😆

@@RugnisReyes Prueba a bajar la sensibilidad. Mantengo mi sensibilidad en 15 en arena seca y reduzco la sensibilidad a 10-12 en el agua. Mantengo mi máquina en modo playa 1. buena suerte y feliz caza Jay
