My 5 yr old loves this game. We play co-op though, gaining negative points as a team. Its is just fun doing silly things in unison. It also travels well. Its very enjoyable with kids. I wouldn't play it with adults.

lol if you play a 5 its a 5, when i play a 5 it doubles it to 10, then when you play a 10 it doubles it to 20

I don't see much replay value in this one.

My problem with chinatown was that you can often mathematically calculate exact how much any given tile or space is likely to pay out over the whole game, and there's no point in paying too much or too little to someone to make that happen Much prefer negotiation in games where it's not so obvious what something is worth like Zoo Vadis or Cosmic Encounter

BGA please pick better games

The board game 'Aqua' just solved for me the unbalanced 'First player drafting' issue and I house rule it anywhere needed. This would be a good example, Akropolis is another... Simply draft the 'first player marker' with the rest (choose to be the last player to draft this round, but first player next round).

I backed this game for my wife. She loved the theme and it sounded fun. I was extremely disappointed with quality many of the components. They didn’t have gold leafing on the player boards (they said it was because it wasn’t wearing well.) without communicating that to the backers, it’s fine just wished they voiced that. Also, they said it would be lien finished (maybe wingspan spoiled me) it’s doesn’t feel like it at all. Just over all super unimpressed with the team or the game itself. I remember taking it out and instantly being underwhelmed. Oh well!

This would be perfect after a few drinks. 😂

How is the card quality?

Seems a bit harsh to give this 3/4 when you can still play it using the regular Quoridor rules. If this was pacman only then it would be fair, but as far as i can tell you might still consider this if you don't own the OG Quoridor?

Spurs want the First of this type of Game. Western Legends "Borrows" heavily from Spurs.

Best game from this set. So strategic for a little box. Very good for 2 players.

This is a great coffee table game, but not much else. Yeah the pac man variant is busted, but the main game is a decent way to kill 15 minutes if you dont gave Santorini/Hive/Onitama/Chess within reach.

I love the Art on the cover of the game plus its not only for Adults teens can play it too. so the goofy art makes sense to me.

I have one of the older printings and the main reason it doesnt get played more often is that the ratio of setup time to play time fells like 50/50. It looks like the base board might mitigate this problem somewhat (the other versions don't have a base board and setup really drags).

I was excited this game came out. Quoridor is a great game. Its simplicity and startegy should make it among classic games. Had my doubts how Pac-man would work.
