Lived in NJ most of my life. You brought back so many memories of places. Wonderful nostalgic production! I live somewhere else now, but I will always be a New Jersey girl in my heart.

This is what technology did to us it killed this sort of industry that we can live on you see industries that we make the stuff not the machines that we make it is is what makes us jobs and let us live

Those are the great old days when the everybody had a job any kind of job you'll be able to live any kind of job even if you had a job picking up s***you will make a living the dollar was excellent and there was homes for everybody and if you lost your place to live guarantee you would find another place someone who opened the door and give you another chance

None of this is the New Jersey I have lived my entire life in. What was shown is the State of North Jersey known as the NY suburbs. Lousy video

Great video brings back fond memories. I lived across the street from Packards in Hackensack and almost forgot how it looked! I spent so much time at Palisades Park and Olympic Park and remember too when Bambergers opened in Paramus! As a small child I could see Two Guys in North Bergen from the window of our top floor apartment. Thanks again.

I love New Jersey!!! Born and Raised typing this in August, 2023 where the Daily Mail just rated NJ THE SAFEST STATE IN ALL OF THE US!!! . We are #1 again NJ. I dubbed our little state "The Little State that Could" . Fun fact: did you know NJ is the most mentioned state mentioned in all of the Hollywood Movies/tv shows etc. Boy, you touched on some real Nostalgia here, my parents favorite restaurant was the "Casa Hafbrou House" it was our go-to special occasion dinner place, I can't believe you added that!!!! Block Buster and Emerson Bowling Lanes were part of my teenagehood I would say. You could have also added the iconic Paramus Park Mall and Triplex Movie theatres of the day.

Thank you for the trip down memory lane. I loved Bertrand's Island! I grew up in Montclair and my family bought a house in Lake Hopatcong, where I spent the summers of 1975, 76, 77, 78, and 79.

Oh man, I'd almost forgotten Two Guys... I remember how many times Mother's changed ownership, and names, always every third or so owner renaming it Mother's..., During its brief dinner theater time, I performed at the Hoboken Clam Broth House (Allen Felix in _Play It Again, Sam,_ and Snoopy in 𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘯, 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯...). Clam Broth House is gone...?

Born and raised in Dover, Morris County. Or as we say when asked the placement of Dover. Answer always given. Miles from George Washington bridge. "Dover. 31 miles from the George Washington Bridge. " Thanks Paul, love your songs and videos. I now live in Phoenix Arizona, but Dover is always in my heart❤
