All of the back pain came out 2 days after I got fired due to "poor performance". (This company is promoting overworking, by the way.) I suppose those back pain is due to constant muscle tension from trying my best to please my insatiable bosses.

What you said about the food taste changing based on your brain is sooo true... I remember when i was 18 I wanted to cut out sugars as much as possible and I lived to drink tea with sugar. However since then I learned to drink tea without sugar and now for 10 years I have never had any sugar in tea, or any other drinks for that matter because it just tastes gross to me.

I quit my job on May 11th 2024. Im getting concerned now of the extreme fatigue that ive been experiencing now for 12 days. My job was toxic, intense, fast pace, and moderate labor. I was on my feet 6 to 8 hours a day pushing a fulfillment cart and picking up orders for online customers throughout the day. It was fast pace and i didnt feel these symptoms until 3 days after i quit. Its scary why im feeling this way. I WOULD SO APPRECIATE if someone can relate to this and comment below. Im kinda getting worried. Thank you all 🙏 Ps: I was doing this for 6 months at 46 years of age.

The only advice I will give you is that if you're going to continue this self-employed journey you should really invest in a good accountant. They will save you money, and keep you safe. TurboTax is fine if you're a W-2 recipient, but all business owners should have a reliable accountant.

This video is so relatable. Being in client success, I resonated with these reasons 100%. I've been working in the role and experienced these issues in like 6 months. I'm glad I found this video. The story with the PTO and employees hit really hard. How is it that I'm new and know more about a new computer program than my colleagues there years before me 😅

OMG this is me! I’m an engineer. I just don’t bother to take PTO even though I get 25 days a year. HR gets upset with me every couple of years for me not taking time off for letting the days accumulate but I just ignore them and they forget about it for a while.

Thank you for sharing your story. I relate to a lot of these, all except period (male here). The lack of focus is the worst - to me it was the feeling that i was listening to someone saying something actually interesting, and then in the middle of their phrase I blanked out and my mind immediately ran to my work and how much i still have left to do for the next day, and how I would get admonished for not being done, so I was losing interest in everything people had to say around me instantly, because of work. Horrible feeling, losing interest in everything that happens around you, and generally being overwhelmed with a feeling that life doesn't matter anymore - to me that is the worst.

Oh my gosh! Get out of the F bathroom!! Three girls to one bathroom and we have one roommate who constantly commandeers the bathroom for at least an hour or more when taking a shower. Of course this happens either late at night or early in the morning when people also want to grab a shower or worse, people need to go to the bathroom!! Soooo F frustrating!! Let’s also talk about roommates who never buy shared supplies like paper towels, trash bags, plastic wrap, etc. Don’t use those supplies if you’re not going to help buy more!! Nobody has the money to be paying for you too! If we had that kind of money, we wouldn’t be renting and dimming with others! Pay your own way and do your part! Also, don’t hog the whole Dmnd refrigerator and kitchen!!

This is a pretty huge issue that needs to change in the United States. I've considered leaving the country because of how much our government favors corporations rather than the individual's wellbeing. Corps just bring people in, grind them to dust, and that dust just naturally washes away in the wind. We are abused consistently.

Thank you. The pressure of constant discipline as required in the corporate environment has put me on a ledge so many times. Changing the perception that I have to hustle til burnout in order to not be seen as undriven or lazy at worst is necessary at this time of my life. Let's continue to challenge the hustle culture that is not the best thing for all of us. Also have gut and an autoimmune so I recognize and encourage you for doing the elimination thing that also helped me a lot! Cheers from California 🤙🌊🌻

Ahhh love all of this!! It’s wild how deep the conditioning is. I’ll call myself lazy during therapy calls so often and my therapist catches me every time. I’m always shocked when I realize I said it! It’s definitely a journey breaking through this mindset - one I’m still on! And wow I love to hear that! It gives me so much hope. I’ve really been struggling mentally with all of this health stuff but it seems food is a big factor for me! Glad it helped you💕

I resigned today. I had injuries from a previous job and those became inflammed with this jobs duties. I only lasted a couple months and suffered from insomnia, pain, stress, extreme fatigue, self-neglect such as not caring for myself. I just let myself go- not trimming nails, not trimming hair, not healthy eating, thinking negatively, no time for myself or things I used to enjoy because I was too dang tired! Even on weekends, I was becoming a homebody. I'm an adventurous spirit and I didnt want to go anywhere! This wasn't me at all. I didn't recognize myself. Ohhh, the sense of relief once I quit. I am reading "What color is your parachute?" The most recent edition and workbook. So helpful in getting to know yourself better and what career is meant especially for you. Please give it a try to anyone struggling.

If it’s not there yet, you should add to your list: mind reader 😂 I’ve been looking for this! ❤❤ about price range- would you always charge per hour (and maybe could be different hours every week, depending on the demand of tasks) or create some kind of packages? 💋 love your content!
@PaigeWestCo28 күн бұрын
Bahahahh this cracked me up!🤣🤣 I’ve done a mix of hourly and some packages! My struggle with packages is that if I don’t know the work super well then I end up charging too low and making less than I would’ve with hourly😅 but if I have someone else helping me out with the work, packages are a life saver!! Certain things I’ve found clients prefer a package so they know what the final amount will be (websites for example). Really anything that has a clear end product lends itself well to a package!

This is great info, and inspiring as I figure out what to do next. Would you suggest setting up an LLC for this type of work? I already do sole proprietorship for a small eBay business I’ve done for years.
@PaigeWestCoАй бұрын
An LLC protects your personal assets in any cases where the business owes a debt BUT it’s not necessary by any means. I operated without an LLC for over a year mainly because I didn’t want to spend the money on it. If you can afford it, go for it! If not, set up a good contract! Hope that helps :)
