Would the cb be like the t100 or more like 150

Seems from the reviews that TM just came out with a new iron, but it doesn't have a lot of excitement behind them? Everyone has hit them and went "they are nice" and that's it. Guess i'll wait for Apex?

P7CB is a modern take on the famous RAC and RAC TP irons of the early 2000s. Really a great looking iron. They are gorgeous in person and much friendlier than the P7MC.

the P770 looks just like robocop

Even as a Titleist guy, I’ve got my eye on those CB’s. Looks more forgiving than the Titleist CB’s, and I hate all these hollow headed irons every brand in the world is releasing nowadays.

spin rates look a bit low, but when I tested a P770 a couple of years ago I found that the spin rates were also a little lower than I get with my i210s (same loft). Difficult to argue against the peak height and descent angles though. I would definitely want to test these on course going into a green before buying, should be ok accept on hardish green - which is what my local course has right now!

Jeez, the CB is an ugly looking thing from the back, Michael. Not a lot of shelf appeal there. Does it replace the significantly better looking P7MC, or is this a new iron like the Titleist T150?

tensei 1k 65 x = 3.5 torque v ventus vr 6-x torque of 2.9 which explains greater dispersion from the tensei....to properly do a comparison would have been better to use the tensi 1k 85 tx with torque of 2.8 which would have been really interesting to see results

what about the ZX4's and bend to 30 degrees-- would they be the most forgiving then and still get spin up and keep some distance?

I ordered the T200 with Project X LZ 6.0, felt great at the indoor hitting facility plus I use Vokey wedges so I wanted to stay with the same Brand. Although I did try the Mizuno, Ping and Taylor Made Irons..

I think it's a mistake to test these shafts with a feel shot. Why not go the full distance for the club and see how they differ?

How would you say these compare to the new Cleveland ZipCore XL? Thanks!

LoL :) I'm 56 yrs young, been a golfer for 42 years, NEVER had a fitting in my life, have O/A in the knees, game has much improved the past 4 years after returning to Callaway. HC down from about 12 to 5.9 to 6.8 consistently despite my physical issues (*possible L-knee replacement in 1-2 years time). My longer irons I have always struggled with, yet, inside 130-140 yds, I'm a pin seeker. My thoughts regarding the T' series is to go 5, 6 & 7 in T350's and 8-A/W in either T150's or T200. What are your feelings about this based on my profile.

I just ordered the 11.5. I'm toying with the notion of putting a regular length shaft on it. Interested to see if others are contemplating doing the same. Please share your opinions on such a move. I hit my driver fine but, as a short fellow, I feel like the driver heads are too oversized anymore and I'm looking for something more compact behind the ball. I hit my 3 wood better than most of my clubs so it's not my intention to replace it. I'm just looking for a similar feel I guess??? And it's a limited run so if I don't like it I'm sure I won't have a problem reselling it.

When I went for a driver fitting, these two ended up being the best of the bunch. The Ping was just a little bit better fit for me.

Not crazy about the look of full toe wedge. If it was groundbreaking, everyone would copy the design. Even Callaway is going away from it as the new Opus wedges are back to the traditional look.

Does midsize grip affect swing weight of club ?

Good review…..I don’t get the whole “some golfer won’t use these or are too good to use these” 95% of golfer could use these unless you are an elite player. A lot of club golfers use irons that are making life more difficult for them!! Posers….What golfer is going to complain about hitting it too straight!! I’ve been a low handicapper and I just bought these irons in the hope that they will make more consistent.

Back in late June of this year I went in to get fitted for new irons. Was playing AP2 714's. I wanted the T200's. Hit them well. The fitter brought a 7 iron and said do not look but just to hit. First few shots I was amazed. I didnt say a word and the fitter didnt say one word. I hit a few more. I said I rather have these and then I looked....Wilson Dynapwr Forged. With the money I saved I purchased a set of Wilson Forged Wedges. Could not be any happier.

Bought one of these today. The numbers I got from it were very consistent for me. Can’t wait to get it in the course

I'd kill to hit the ball that far. I have the Cobra LTDx but I use the Sr flex Helium shaft due to my age and swing speed.

I have the Cobra King Utility 2 iron. Love it. It stays in the bag. I prefer Utilities to hybrids - my hybrid shots tend to balloon. 2 iron flights are a thing of beauty.

It has nothing to do with your swing "comfort"! It is simple physics - the momentum of the heavier shaft is bigger and it allows for BIGGER energy transfer therefore the distance is different!It was proven times and times again that for an average golfer a small difference - up to 20grams, doesn't make any significant difference and heavier shafts are usually better!!!!!!
