I remember reading somewhere that Japanese people think that foreigners in general carry more STIs than themselves. So are prone to shy away from sleeping with Gaijin. As someone who always wanted to visit Japan and study Japanese for years, I just happened to read it somewhere when thinking about traveling there.

外人シートって大体匂いかマナーの問題だよね 外国人は汗の臭いなどの体臭や香水の匂いが強すぎる人が多い 自分も2、3回隣に座った外国人の香水の匂いがキツすぎて席移動したことある あとは電話内で大声で話す、電話する、イヤホンなしで音楽聴く、大股で座る、隣の席に自分の荷物がはみ出すぎてるとかのシンプルなマナー違反違反が多い 日本人でも外国人でもこういう人の隣には座る人は少ない そもそもほとんどの日本人は座りたいんだから、なにか訳がない限り普通に隣に座るよ
