Not only am I here in 2024 but honestly some of the best songs I’ve ever held on to and loved are from city and colour.

He’s got an olden tone. There are spikes of intense resonance in his voice. Solemnly delivered. Just outstanding. We don’t get music like this anymore. Curious about mic placement during recording.

This song keeps me from hurting myself, I just found this song months ago on my parents old usb drive, I always wondered which siblings or parents downloaded this song because it speaks for me, but I’m never gonna find that out because we all keep to ourselves now, but if anything it brings me at peace (in a good way) if I had a message for my old self, I wish you could of done better and that is taking care of yourself…

Thank you. Same here. Hits different cause my best friend committed suicide by train minutes after walking away after hugging me and Still keeping the Happiest persona no matter what.. wish he would've just opened up. Ironic that we listened to this artist so much even though it wasn't his "cup of tea"

Fear. Every man has a fear he will never admit or it shows his neck to the world. The fear that he didnt do enough, be enough, work enough, take time enough, love enough, fight enough, etc. We all want to make our father or mentors proud, do right by our family, and live well, facing everything on our feet, holding fast against the squalls and strife of life. We live in fear that we will wake up one day down the road, unable to physically do what we did 60 or 70 years prior. We want to be able to face the man in tbe mirror and know he lived hard and well.

It's 2021, and the woman who introduced me to this song has been dead a few weeks shy of 7 years. I sobbed 40 seconds into the song the first time I heard it, and I still struggle to keep them back. She said this song made her think of me. I agreed with her, I still do. "What makes a man...?" I think I know, I think I might know. Years ago this song made her think of me, and now it makes me think of her.

Overview Lyrics Listen People also search for Main Results I can hear my train comin' It's a lonesome and distant cry I can hear my train comin' Now I'm runnin' for my life What makes a man Walk away from his mind?
