i have one black 4 by 4 mint shape old man took care of it. this one needs more fender emblems on it looks like its missing some lol nice truck

I had a '61 W200 shortbox Power Wagon. I put a 440 with NP435 4sp in lt. The engine build with the purple shaft hemi grind cam and ported and polished closed chamber heads was supposedly 425hp. It really hauled ass. It kept up with my buddy's hotrod CJ7, that ran 15 sec 1/4 miles. Not bad for an old farm truck on a low budget. Wish I still had it...

I like that very nice sounds good If I would change something on that bike it would be the hand bars but don't get me wrong that's very nice , I like that bike

My dad bought a few Dodge trucks back then. he bought a new 1 ton flatbed ( that's all they had then in one tons) with a 383 automatic. he put a high rise and a good 4 barrel on it and it would fly. i have a couple of the sweptlines now. they are tough trucks. thanks for posting this. enjoyed it.

I have one of these, too. A red 61 W200, with a 318, 4.10 limited slip 60 and a 3500# 44. I think there were only about 260 made. Love these trucks!

Nice ol' truck!! Gotta love a 383: LOADS OF TORQUE!! Yeah, I'd rather have that NP 445 than the NP 420 I had in my short bed 61' W200 Crew Cab Power Wagon!! Pretty much had to stop to go into 2nd gear!! 1st was granny low and you were better off just starting in 2nd most of the time. Since they used a 122" wheelbase with that crew cab body, my bed was literally a SQUARE: 5 1/2' X 5 1/2'!! She had the Poly 318 which was a great motor but, it ain't no 383 like yours!! Hope yours makes it back on the road!!

Very nice old W-series Power Wagon , awesome shape for the year . But go easy on closing those doors & hood , Never knew why some ppl have to slam their truck doors , hoods & tailgates , very hard on everything over time .

Dodge didn't make zero of them because you wouldn't have one and maybe as far as the short bed with that engine there may be few out there but my 65 w200 has the 383 6.2L v8 as well as matching numbers from factory and was not special ordered
