My dad bought a few Dodge trucks back then. he bought a new 1 ton flatbed ( that's all they had then in one tons) with a 383 automatic. he put a high rise and a good 4 barrel on it and it would fly. i have a couple of the sweptlines now. they are tough trucks. thanks for posting this. enjoyed it.

Nice ol' truck!! Gotta love a 383: LOADS OF TORQUE!! Yeah, I'd rather have that NP 445 than the NP 420 I had in my short bed 61' W200 Crew Cab Power Wagon!! Pretty much had to stop to go into 2nd gear!! 1st was granny low and you were better off just starting in 2nd most of the time. Since they used a 122" wheelbase with that crew cab body, my bed was literally a SQUARE: 5 1/2' X 5 1/2'!! She had the Poly 318 which was a great motor but, it ain't no 383 like yours!! Hope yours makes it back on the road!!

ok i looked in to it old man said no 3/4 ton short box . only long box to hold 3/4 of a ton make cents

Power Wagon collector? It was found next to my channel today. I can tell you that KZbin haters are out there, of non-appreciating old Dodge trucks. I do with comments turned off. I can see the conx in the background, not sure on the point, if you will make more or just don't belive in sand paper and spray cans?

Dodge didn't make zero of them because you wouldn't have one and maybe as far as the short bed with that engine there may be few out there but my 65 w200 has the 383 6.2L v8 as well as matching numbers from factory and was not special ordered
